题目:Some people think the university should prepare students for future employment, others think it should have other functions. Discuss and say what other functions you think the university should have.

The issue of whether or not university should only teach students what do help for their future employment has been widely debated currently. As far as I concerned, I am in favor of the opinion that students should learn not only what is good for their future employment but also many others subjects. The reasons are chiefly as follows:

To begin with, once students get job they will find sometimes EQ is more important than IQ. It means that simple knowledge of career is useless. If they meet troubles, unfortunately, they maybe have no idea about what they should do to solve problems. In addition, learning other courses, such as geography, music, biology, is an embodiment of the education for all-around development and it can broaden their vision. Last but not least, as single course is boring that students must be sick of it soon, hence, the quality of education will be quite low.

On the contrary, some people suggest that the reason why undergraduates go to university is that they want to get a good job after they graduate, therefore, learning other functions is a waste of time and energy. But I do not think that this view can hold water because the result of university’s course is not the only judgment standard for companies to choose employees. To employers, a person with ability is more magnetic than a person only has book learning.

In brief, I consider that students should learning multifarious skills during their study in the university because these skills will help a lot when they set foot on the society. Since they have a chance to learn more about this world, why not hold it and enjoy the colorful life?(285 words)

Students who go directly from school to university benefit less from, and contribute less to their course than those who take a job or travel in order get more experience before starting higher education. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is quite common theses days for student in some countries to take a gap year before attending to college from high school. Some students try to earn a living, while some choose to travel for a period of time. It is widely recognized as beneficial; however, I’m afraid I could not thoroughly agree with this point.

Admittedly, students can be more familiar with the outside world, and have a broader view of life through working and traveling. To be more specifically, they may be clearer of what kinds of skills or abilities does the society need, so that they can learn them or practice them at college. Also, a great opportunity will be offered to make new friends, thus, students can build up a strong personal network in their early age, which is definitely helpful in the modern society.

However, the real world can be quite attractive to the young people and dangerous as well. Students who just graduated from high school usually do not have enough self-control abilities and a clear perspective of what they want. It is quite likely that these young adults find life without books and exams are more interesting than the life in school, and then decide to continue in a particular job instead of get further study, without realizing that higher education is essential for the long term development of a career.

On the other hand, students who go directly from high school to university will find it easier to adapt to the academic atmosphere, thus lead in the competition with those take a period of time off from school.

So my view is, it is not always a good thing for a student to take a gap year before he or she receive higher education. Although young people could broaden their horizons and pick up some worthwhile experience, they may also find it difficult to readapt to an academic environment, and a better way maybe is taking an internship during the vacation of college.

Many young people leave their home before they are 20years old to study.Do you think it positive? What would be the disadvantages in the matter?

There crops up a social dilemma over the hot potato of young people who leave home to study. In terms of the benefits and the headaches, the phenomenon may give rise to, different people hold diverse opinions. As far as I am concerned, compared with its disadvantages, the positive sides still prevail in general.
Some people maintain that it is unreasonable for young people to go abroad at an early age. Lacking in social experience in telling right from wrong, young people may bump into malfeasance, thus suffering from setbacks after entry into the society. The increasing number of juvenile delinquency, for instance, is partly due to some students lack of self-control. They are too young to face the sword of Damocles in their lives.
Some people may think otherwise. I’m a die-hard supporter. There are sound reasons behind the practice. What is of top priority is, early study gives adolescents an opportunity to contact the society. They can widen their perspective by absorbing state-of-the-art information. They have to lay a solid foundation of knowledge to keep up with the Joneses.
On second thoughts, they can gain independence in their life, which children in nowadays society are lacking in. They have to do all the house work themselves, such as cooking, washing and so on. Young people no longer rely on their parents, and they become much more mature. Independence is good for one’s growing up and learning how to take responsibilities.
What’s neglected but worthy of being mentioned is that they can enlarge and enhance personal network by socializing with classmates and workmates. A friend told me that in his class, there are 26 students from 20 different countries. He learned various cultures from them, and thus have friends all over the world, which is advantageous to his future career and life.
Of course, people who leave home at early age may cause some problems. But I believe that, with student’s own consciousness and the help of parents and tutors, who will enlighten students as a torch, paving the way for their development in the society, the benefits will far outweigh the drawbacks.

快考试拉,写了一篇8月份的文章,希望小新老师能帮忙看下~

There is much discussion nowadays as to whether or not different young people should be educated in the same school, and how school should choose their students. Diverse contributing factors can be identified. In my essay,I would like to present my point of view.

Some people think students should enter different schools according to their academic ability. That means if you want to enter a famous school, you must study better than other students. The competition brings pressure, so that they have to spend more time on study. It is helpful especially for those small kids who haven't realized the importance of study. It seems to be beneficial, but it still have its disadvantages. Academic knowledge is not the only to learn. If schools select their students only depend on their school reports, that may force students spend too much time on study. When they grow up, they will meet problems like housework, communication,or how to take care of themselves. So I think all we have to do is to control the pressure at a reasonable level.

Other people believe that different young people should all enter the same school. For those who made mistakes while they hadn't found out the significance of study, they will still have chance to be educated like others. So that they can retrieve their mistakes and find a good job in the future. But in my opinion, this isn't necessarily a good thing, because if there's no competition, there's no pressure. Many pupils may waste their time on TV or computer games. Moreover, it's ridiculous to educate students with different talent in a same way. Why must an athlete spend a lot of time on a complicated mathematical topic? Would it be helpful if a popular singer learns geography very well?

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that both sides have their advantages and disadvantages. And I believe, with the reformation of our education system, it will become more and more advisable.

剑4 test 1--task2
不知咋的话很多,也不知道是不是废话
麻烦小新老师批阅一下,万分感谢!
It is an undeniable fact that there are so many ways of media for communicating information in our lives. Not only traditional methods such as books, theatre and comics, but also some fashionable modes just like listening to radio, watching TV and seeing a film. Nowadays films produced from Hollywood are full of everyone’s life, while radio and comics have come back to the modern families. So I will discuss the personalities of the three matters for transporting affections.

Firstly, let’s talk about films. To tell you the truth, few of us dislike movies especially founded from a place called Hollywood, including China, South Korea, Japan and so on. Even some people make friends, begin a new life and marry to another one because of one or two films. Actually most of films source from our daily life and deepen the spirit of it, which make us walk into the reality and communicate with other person. What’s more, opinions to society or policy could be conceived by this way. We can also acknowledge information on science, civilization or affection from variety of films what we want to maintain. However, there are still a number of movies with violence, or unhealthy things round us. Undoubtly it is so harmful to children that lead chances of crime increasing. Furthermore problems about copyright in movie market in developing countries will interrupt the normal promotion of films.

Compared with film, we can say comic has risen since several years. Generally speaking, comics tell us the real historical events. That is a great opportunity to know what happened in formal time. Anyone who has responsibility will agree. For example, XXX could help us communicate information with elder men who experience that serious war. But there are still some disadvantages. As known to us, a comic is always played in different places so that audiences feel pretty bored and lose their interests. To most of adults, traditional media may be more attract to them. So a lot of citizens are fond of listening to radio. If you own a machine which receive waves, no matter where or when you will be able to get information. Even you could join the activity to communicate with other guests by phone. While what each person hate is so many advertisements existing. More or less the quality of listening should be down.

What I want to recommend is watching films for the reason that images, sounds, flashes and other elements could be involved. Of course we can take some measures to prevent from producing low quality films and hit privacy. Watching movies should be the most direct method to communicate information and different culture. I believe that, with careful regulation and control, the advantage will far outweigh the disadvantage.

It is a fact that many people leave home at a young age. What strike me most is that several juveniles leave home for persuing further study or workong to maitain suvivel.Presumabaly, there are both merits and demerits of leaving home at an early age.

It seems that there several pros for juveniles leave home.First,it is benifit for juveniles to acquire social experiences which are essential to future career.Second, they can learn independence which is indispensable. As known to all, most chirdren in nowadays are lacking of this characteristic.

It is true that there are advantages of juveniles to leave home, but still there are also disadvantages.Pratically, juveniles' leaving home and joining society may cause the losing of simplicity or flexibility which is owned solely by children. Also, thay may feel frustrated to witness several negative aspects of society. In addition, juveniles are not mature enough to tell right from wrong. It is generally accepted that they are easy to go astray for entering society at such an early age.

In conclusion, every cloud has a silver lining. Therefore, leaving home at an eartly age is two-sided.

The two line graphs demonstrated defense spending in defferent ways.

All trens can be catogorized into three stages, with fluctuating from 1956 to 1966, rocketing from 1966 to 1970 and rising and falling evenly from 1970 to 1975 in the first graph. We can see defence spending undulated from 35 billion to 45 billion in the first decade, followed by a rocket, reaching a peak at 80 billion in the next four years. Then, we can witness a flunctuation until 1975.

However, the second graph is defferent from the first one. It seemed that all trends can be catogorized into four groups, with subsiding from 1956 to 1958, creeping down from 1958 to 1962, rising and falling evenly from 1962 to 1968,and plummeting until 1975. Defence spending subsided by 0.5 percent in the first two years. Then there is a gently drop from 1958 to 1962, followed by rising and falling evenly during the next 6 years. Defence spending was witnessed a drmatic decsend, and bottoming out at 6 percent in 1975.

The two charts related how the defense spending and its percentage of GNP changed from 1956 to 1975 in USA.They analysised it with two different forms.

All the trends can be categorized into three groups with undulation from 1956 to 1965,1970 to 1975 in defense spending ,soaring during 1965 and 1970 in defense spending and in percentage of GNP from 1964 to 1968,and plummeting in percentage from 1968 to 1975.As for the graph of defense spending,it vaccilated within a small range, reaching a peak at 50 in 1964 and bottoming out at about 36 in1956.Also,it varied significantly from 1970 to 1975,reaching a apex at approximate 83 and hitting a trough at around 75.Between the two periods, the defense spending surged from 46 to 80.The second chart threw a new light on the situation, expressing it as a percentage of GNP,which ebbed from the beginning to 1964 by 2%.Moreover,it plunged from 1968,92% toward the end of 1975,which is about 6%.The percentage in the middle years from 1964 to 1968 soared.

what is worth mentioning is that the cost of defense spending was not accord with its percentage of GNP,which subsided most of time while the defense spending swelled overall.

the food which changed by technological and scientific. Some people think that is harmful.

It is manifest that people have already been aware of the problem that there are millions of people who still have a miserable life and have to face the dangers of starvation and exposure. What makes us exciting is that technology and science have been applied to food production, which almost solve the serious problems. However, with the application of technology and science, the safty of food becomes a big issue.

On one hand, technology and science have changee our world including the food production. The traditional way to cultivating is taken place by the machine , which maxmumly saves the labour.A increasing number of farmers are guided by the scientists to plant by scientific method, which improve the productivity dramatically. Moreover, the taste ,the colour even the shap of food are changed by the technology ande science. For example, the fruit are sweeter than what they had been. Some kinds of watermelon have square shap and yellow fresh, which is surprised us.

On the other hand, the issue that whether the food changed appearance even gene are safe to us are arguing strongly.Despite no evidences indicate that the genetic modified food do harmful to heath , a great number of scientists still doubt about that and go on trying to find the evidence. Thus, maybe the genetic modified food are not as safe as traditional food.

To put all into a nutshell , the application of technology and science contributes greatly to the food production , inevtablely ,it may bring about a little negative impacts . In the near future , I believe , scientists will find a better way to deal with the problems well.

我8月25号考,老师麻烦看一眼吧~~~白书p101 11题
There is dispute over whether the old buildings should be well protected. Some people maintain that they could be knocked down to provide room for real-estate development. For my part, I consider it to be an unwise idea, and I will give several reasons why this is so.

First, the old buildings are the symbols of one nation’s history and culture. In deed, they resemble the wisdom of our ancestors. From the historical buildings we can see the progression of the civilization of one country and the character of the local cultural style. Different period of time has its different typical buildings, from which we can know clearly the evolution of the nation’s architecture.

Additionally, the old buildings can help to stimulate the progress of tourism. For example, Egypt, whose tourists are mainly attracted by its mysterious and charming pyramids. It is manifest that when visitors visit some countries, they will always be fascinated by the famous local historical buildings, such as museums, palaces, theatres and so on, which are totally different from the ones in their own hometowns.

Last but not the least, the old buildings are always the spirit carriers of the nations. People often go to some of these places to have the religion or celebration activities, and those architectures can always be the prides of the country. They also help to arouse the cultural identification of people there, hence, to improve the national coherence. For instance, the Great wall is regarded as the symbolization of Chinese people’s spirit, while the Eiffel Tower in Paris is seemed as the pride of France.

We should admit that not all the old buildings should be treated equally as the invaluable treasures. We can tear down some old buildings of this kind to provide room for new ones. But all in all, we must see the value of them. The historical buildings are unlike other things, once gone, never returned. So actions should be taken to preserve the old buildings well. On the other hand, we should also make good solutions to make the old and new buildings coexist ideally.

The two charts here generally reflect different views of people on major causes and the expense of adult education.

Obviously, from the bar chart, the majority can be easily identified as people who believe it is the adults’ interest in certain disciplines or desire to attain better qualifications that forces them to study in specific areas. The former opinion accounts for 40 per cent which is a slightly 2 per cent higher than the latter one. Also, there are a noticeable amount of people realizing would regard obtain certain knowledge as a way of assisting the current job at 22%. 40 per cent is equally shared by people who study to seek for promotion in one’s occupation and greatly enjoy the learning process. In comparison, a smaller proportion considers adult education as a spring board to a new or better working environment. Only about one tenth of all people feel that those mature people are looking for new friends in such a kind of study.

The expense of each subject is dramatically disputed as well. Most people insist it is adults’ responsibility to pay one’s own fees. There are ones who believe the burden should be included in employers and taxpayers’ obligation occupying 35% and 25% respectively.

The line chart and the bar chart indicate the variation of the steel price during 15 years that is immediately after 1985 and the 5 leading steel manufacturers of the globe in 2000.

As the line graph depicts, apparently, the steel value reached an acme at $500 per ton in 1995. What attracts my attention most, however, is that the undulation of the figure was tremendous in a short period. Especially in the last 5 years from 1995 to 2000, the difference between two extremes expanded to nearly $300 each ton, which was turned out to be the most significant price discrepancy on the line graph. Also, the most rapid slump which was approximately one half declines of 1995 occurred in the same period, following immediately after reaching the summit. Nonetheless, the surging price of the previous 10 years was considerable as well. Besides the short subsidence in about 1992, the soar was quite steep in the rest time of the period.

China, as the biggest steel producer shown on the chart, yielded 218 million tons in 2000. Another 240 million tons were nearly shared equally by Japan and US which took the second and third place respectively. Russia followed after US at 72 million tons, and the least of the five was Germany which had 47 million tons in the same year.

As is unfolded in this bar chart, post-school qualifications in Australia in 1999 differ females from males.

According to this diagram, post-school qualifications in Australia, namely Skilled vocational diploma (SVD), Undergraduate diploma (UD), Bachelor’s degree (BD), Postgraduate diploma (PD), and Master’s degree (MD), were almost lead by males, except UD and BD in Australia in 1999. For example, the males with SVD covered a lion share of the whole people with SAD at 90%, while the remaining only 10% was contributed to the females. However, in terms of UD, the portion of the females’ holders occupied a majority of the total at approximately 70%, doubling that of the males’ holders. This was the opposite with the situation of PD (30% for women and 70% for men). Moreover, the percentage of women holding BD were slightly larger than men by 10%, which was the reverse of the shares in different genders in MD, 40% for women and 60% for men.

What is most worth mentioning is that although to a large extent the high levels of qualifications are dominated by males, the average qualification level of females is higher than that of males. (192 words)

这是CEO及其spouse 对CEO'S presssure原因探究那篇.

The table below shows the perceptions of pressure in the CEO life style from the perspectives of CEO and their partners/spouses respectively.

All statistics can be categorized into three groups: prdominance of perceptions of CEO, predominance of perceptions of their spouses/partners, equilibrium of the two. From CEOs' own perspectives, the main factor that produces stress is Time pressures and deadlines, which account for 52% of the whole. While their partners/spouses regard 4 factors in all as main stree-producing fatores, which are: Time pressures and deadlines, Work-related travel, Work overload, Long working hours. The four, occupying 60%,57%,62%,62%respectively, all overpercentage their counterparts -- perceptions of CEO.Predominance of Perceptions of spouses/partners also include Taking work home. Predominance of Perceptions of CEO is as follows: Demand of work on private life,Demand of work on relationship with family, Inadequately trained subordinates. The only factor that is perceived more or less equally is Interpersonal ralations.

From the table we can draw the conclusion that CEO and their partners/spouses perceive stree-produing factors differently. CEOs' partners/spouses regard more factors as main source of stree in CEO lifestyle than CEO themselves.

剑3 TEST4 TASK2

It is an indeniable fact that some developing countries have difficulty in solving social problems, such as education, health, while some developed nations have already established a perfect social system to take care of their people. Some people hold the idea that the richer nations are responsible to offer help to those poorer ones. I'm also a believer of this point of view.
We can often read the reports like that some people in developing countries died of illness because of lack of good medical care. The government of those countries usually lack necessary support , which makes it difficult for their people to live a good life. At that time, the help from some richer nations can exert the power. They can help the poorer ones both in economy and technology, which will surely give enormous benefits to the people in trouble.
Also, there is an increasing tendency of globalization. The world becomes smaller and smaller and more like a village. The relationship between country and country is somehow like that between neighbours. So the help from the richer nations is necessary and also helpful to reach the same goal of both countries of further development. The developed country may also be beneficial from the developing ones. They can not only expand their markets to these countries but also find something useful from the local resources.
In view of the above reasons, I am convinced that richer nations should be more responsible to help the poorer. I hope that one day with the combination of efforts from both countries, there will be a whole new world full of happiness.

写了一篇您推荐的2号球里的关于动物和植物保护的文章,请您帮忙改改

Nowadays, more and more newspapers report the ectinction of animals and plants. As the owner of the earth --- human beings, had done too much little actions on preventing them from extincting. People have awared of the problem, but what we did were still like a battle of water in the sea. We owners should take more actions to resolve the problem.

Most of people don't make any sense when they get the information of extinctiong of any animal or plant. What i believe is that, the development of cities divided citizens, animals and plants into two different worlds. For example, when i was young. I could only watch animals in the zoo, and they all locked in the cabbiage. For this situation, we between couldn't communicate with each other. On the other hand, our government maybe paid just a little attention on it.When the animals are being killed, the government still haven't realize the importance of protecting our friends. In addition, parts of some animals can be sold a high price on international market, as some people for money,it should be strongly criticised.

I strongly suggest, we can establish an international day of animals and plants. Such as in China, 12 March every year,is the Planting Day.And the mediaa all over the world should pay attention on educating people to protect our friends.

Some people think it would be a good idea for schools to teach every young person how to be a good parent.
Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Describe the skills a person needs to be a good parent.
Give reasons for your answer and include an relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words

Generation gap is a serious problem nowadays which has been noticed by the public. Some people blame that incompetent parents should be responsible for it, they also suggest that young person should be taught how to be a good parent in schools. From my point of view, I wholly support this opinion for two main reasons.

In the first place, there are qualified and experienced teachers and a large numbers of books about children psychology in schools which are both very helpful for young person to learn. Attending classes or reading relevant data in library, they can learn the basic principle of communication with children and how to build up trustment and friendship with their kids. In other words, through studying in schools, young person can be ready enough to be a good parent.
Secondly, young person can break tradition parental system after studying advanced theoretical knowledge. Traditionally, children must obey parents’ opinions or orders even if they were wrong or unreasonable to some extent. In this condition, relationship between children and parents would be impaired gradually. However, these young people have known the drawbacks of this condition, so they would treat their kids equally and work side by side to solve the problems.
What’s more, to be a good parent, people should be patient and have good interpersonal skills such as communication, cooperation and persuasion and so on. Most importantly, they should love their children from the bottom of their hearts.
As has been discussed above, we can come to the conclusion that systematical studying in schools on how to be a competent parent is significant and necessary for young person.

It has been widely heeded that, with the popularity of students getting a job or travel for skills before going to university, there crops up a social dilemma over the hot potato of whether it is legitimate that graduates get less benefit and make less contribution. To be candid, I am in high favor of the feasibility of those who have a cornerstone of knowledge.

The 21st century is known as a knowledge-burning period so that one who is short of cognition will soon lose his core competence,. The rapid renovation calls for talents to keep up with the Joneses. Meeting the competition with their peers, those who get a job before attending university will probably discover their disadvantage, especially of the operation on new information technology and application of hot business theory. Furthermore, they will lack of career developments because their employers often have doubt on their qualifications without a degree, let alone higher salary.

I always hold the opinion that people who enter the society after university study are more likely to obey the laws. Not only did they learn the special courses from campus, but also they were well prepared in quality. In this way, they can be less influenced by the evil side of the social group. No bad things are good things. Thus, they make crucial endeavor to the whole social orders.

Everything is like a concave-and-convex-sided nutshell. Although students going to work before higher educational training seems sensible to a certain extent, the rationality of my opinion outweighs that of the former one. Nevertheless, it is definite that if one started working after graduation, he would have made a wise choice.(277)

Topic: Some people think museums should be enjoybale places to attract and entertain young people.Others think the the purpose of museums is to educate, not to entertain.Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

As more and more countries accomplished the material needs, people began to seize more joy for senses or spiritual activities in their spare time. Museum plays a very important role amongst various kinds of choices. Well, there crops up a social dilemma, wheather museums should be sort of entertainments or serious places for education. Personally, I strongly believe that both of them are just the convex and concave side of a nutshell.

Education, as the terminal and basic goal to build up a museum, cannot be neglected. It’s not a place where people crowded, having fun by dancing, singing or any other open ways to realise. It’s more like a quiet and respectful procedure to feel something valuable, which could be history, culture, art and new technology. The meaning of walking by each object shown, scanning every delicated exhibit don’t just stay on the ground. People can learn something from it, either know how our ancesters live or how our offsprings survive. Thus, the purpose for museum of enlightening people must be remained.

On the other hand, things need to evolve following the pace of society. Museum is not an exception. If no one come to museum, how can the purpose of education be achieved? In this newly century, boring ways like showing pictures one after one can never match young people’s tastes. In order to let visiotrs accept things that museums want to deliver eaily, the methods used should be attracting. Through this way, museums could become part of places young people like to go and have entertainments. It not only bring enormous benefits economically, but a place young people obtain useful things in an easy and happy way. One stone many birds.

Depend on what I said above, museums can find a new way to manage. Static exhibits should be changed into more motivated and vivid images, which can combine high-tech and old crafts. I insist that entertainment and education are not two things against each other, but helping each other to work better.

Some people think that schools should select their pupils according to their academic ability. Others believe that young people with different abilities should be educated together. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Just as a famous proverb once noted, nature passes nurture, which clearly indicates the enormous significance and tremendous influence education has on every one of us. However, the dispute about the aim of education has been long under fierce discussion and opinions vary. Pupils’ being ranked according to their academic levels is one of them, which, meanwhile, is just opposite to those holding the belief that mixing up different types of young people with different aptitudes at school would be much more helpful to serve the terminal goal of education.

Academic ability, evaluating the students’ level of mastership of the lessons, tends to focus on the aspect of knowledge students need to acquire in education. With a solid foundation of academic knowledge, one can keep up with the Joneses in the ever-changing society, being much more competitive, thus he or she would not be deprived of core competence and avoid being eliminated in the fierce competition. There’s no denying that the knowledge and qualifications one accumulated in his early age will be of gigantic conducive to the later career development.

On the other hand, the concept that educating young people with different aptitudes together tends to pay more attention to the experience students will obtain in different fields. With knowledge and skills and a great range of experience acquiring everyday, students can associate theory to practice and thus covert knowledge into experience, which can definitely activate the social value and utility of their academic learning. Theory without practice never makes perfect, hence, indeed, experience is the terminal of knowledge.

In my point of view, it is both crucial that students should obtain knowledge and acquire experience, hence I prefer a combination of these two opinions: we could establish a sound system to group students with similar ability of learning into a general category, such as Art Section or Science Section, so that we get a decent balance between these two contradictory ideas.

Multi-cultural societies, which are mixed with different ethnic people, bring more benefits than drawbacks, to what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, with the development of globalization, multi-cultural societies is becoming a topic on which people have been divided. Actually, there is an opinion that a society which is consisted of people from different countries and ethnic can bring more benefits than harmfulness. From my personal part, I reach out both arms to enhance this point of view with these following reasons.

To begin with, in terms of economic, compared with an ordinary society, the one with varied culture has a larger consume. As we all know, every ethnic has its unique custom in eating, clothes, daily life. So the different consumption need infused into vitality for the economy and drive it to increase.

Further, the different customs and habits will change the living environment of the region and even make it change into a global village, which will also be able to make the local life interest and funny. As an old saying goes, “Be it ever so humble, there is no place like home.” A majority of people with different cultural background would like to live where like their hometowns, so there must be many buildings of various styles in a place, which offers a golden chance to local residents to travel the world in a day.

Last but not least, the fusion of different cultural language will not only produce a large number of new vocabularies, but also push society to develop. For an example, with the peaceful rising of China, Chinese is constantly influencing English, let it produce many Chinese type vocabularies, making English language more flexible than before.

All in all, I believe that the advantage brought by various cultural societies is not only reflected in the economy and language, but it also manifests itself in people’s daily life. Any one is willing to agree with the point that the benefits come from multi-culture societies overweight the problems they cause.

Topic: In many countries, more and more young people are leaving school and unable to find jobs after graduation. What problems do you think youth unemployment will cause to the individual and the society? Give reasons and make some suggestions.

Recently, how to find a good job after graduation become the first problem most students concerning about. Even if handling diplomas from Peking University or Qinghua University, there are still barriers setting up in front of them. This social dilemma has been paid attention by public. To demonstrate the reasons, I can give some as following.

To students themselves, they have been educated for more than ten years, and urged to contribute to the society with passion and confidence. While, unemployment is a reality they have to accept, which must dragged them into confusion and annoying. They probably will doubt whether it’s meaningful to be in school working so hard, whether they are useless or workless. Despite the burdens physically, unemployment also make students’ lives hard. Though some of them can get parents’ assistances, financial support can’t be a long-term way. They have to be on their own. But without working, there won’t be money supporting them to live on. Inevitably, unemployed students’ families are put on burdens at the same time.

Since it has been a social concern, youth unemployment affects the whole community. Young people’s statuses are the symbols of a society. If they feel desperate, the whole atmosphere won’t be cheered up. Also, spare populations’ booming is the beginning of illegal activities’ increasing. On the other hand, the country invest enormous money on education, unemployment reflects the bad feedback. Human resources and intelligence are not well used. Some good-pay jobs lacking talents and some students seeking opportunities both are unsatisfied.

To work out this thorny issue, I propose that individual and society need to take actions. Related authorities can expand visions so that there’s no chance to miss any talent. Besides, companies could provide free pre-training chances that can let students be acquainted with future jobs. Orientation also is a good method to help them find fit-in jobs as soon as possible. Students themselves need to be more optimistic and devoted into different activities only if they are beneficial for improving skills. As conclusion, one vital concept which should be shared by company and students is, “Suitable is the best.”

小新~~~红书72页的birth rate & death rate,谢谢,帮忙批一下~~呵呵~~

We can see from the graph, two curves show the fluctuation of death rate and birth rate between 1900 and 1970 in a developing country.
During the first decade, there was an equilibrium of the birth and death rate, which remained steady at 40 per thousand population, from 1910 to 1970,all the statistics can be catagorized into two groups with predominance of birth rate from 1910 to 1930,and the predominance of death rate from 1930 to 1970.
The birth rate had a sharply increase, reaching a peak at nearly 60 per thousand population in 1920,and slumped, bottoming out at about 20 per thousand in 1940, then we can witness it was fluctuating between 1940 and 1970,and finally it creeped down around 20 per thousand till the end of 1970.
On the other hand,we can witness a gentle decline of death rate, going down to about 30 per thousand when in 1930, and then reaching peak at 50 per thousand in 1940,after that ,there is an ebb until 1970.and we can witness clearly that the death rate is higher than birth rate in the last 40 years.

The students who study from high school to university get less benefit and make less contribution than those students who get a job or travel for skills and experience before going to university.Do you agree or disagree

It is undeniable that knowledge and social experience is like a concave-and-convex-sided nutshell. They are both important factor for students to find a good job and get success.from my point of view, i advocate the opinion of getting some social exprience before university.

As we all know, nowadays rapid innovation makes students short of expertise quite often,so we have to lay solid foundation of knowledge to keep up with the Joneses, without which you will be deprived of the core competence and feel disadvantageous to your peer, thus eliminated by the society.for instance,it is difficult for graduate students to find a ideal job if they don't own a series of certification ,esp English certification related.and foreign company also attention on this.

However, what is of top priority is,it is inevitable that experience tries all things, only after acquiring certain exprience can the students know clearly which aspect of knowledge they are in urgent need of and only after converted into experience can knowledge yield social value and utility .when they are in class, they can absorb knowledge more efficiently .we can witness that lots of managers pour into MBA class to study.when they have enough social exprience and work expertise, they find that they lack of corporation management theory and are eager to learn, and when the course is over, they benefit a lot from it and convert into high productivity. on contrast, students always feel confused about their future, and always question themselves whether the course is useful to learn? It always happened that students are always find huge distance between knowledge and exprience when they are working ,the reason is that they are not quite familiar with the society ,and just learn without thinking .if they don't practice , they are hardly to understand it penetratingly.

Although knowledge entails updating and upgrading continously,we need to try to gain experience as many as possible first and then study , as the superlative form of knowledge, experience is the terminal of knowledge, which is serving for social experience.so i agree to go to work or travel before enter university.

The chart illustrates the way in which we can obtain water outdoors .

In the open air, if you want to collect water, you could follow these steps. Firstly, you have to find a hole which is big enough to accommodate your container. Then remove the green plants on the middle of the bottom and place the container there. After that cover a sheet of plastic over the hole and have two stones secured the position in the two ends of the plastic respectively Finally lay another stone in the middle of the plastic sheet so that there is a lowest point of the whole sheet of plastic.

When the sun shines, as we know, the plants will experience a series of chemical reactions from which the vapor generates. The steam rises up and then condensed into drops of water once comes into contact with the surface of the plastic. As more and more water accumulates on the lowest part, it flows down directly into the container.

Thus, we can successfully collect water by drawing on the photosynthesis of green plants outdoors in this way.

作文讲义P12 流程图

This report describes two appropriate ways to design the house in adaptation to cool and warm climate.

In response to different climate, we could not only take advantage of different structures of the house but also give full play to different kinds of material such as thermal building material and insulation material.

In the cool climates, it is better to use thermal building material for the internal wall while insulation one for external so that heat in the house could be comparatively easy to store. On the other hand, the high-angle roof is necessary to reduce the reflection of the sunshine, which is also conducive to make the house warmer.

In the contrast, of course, there would be another design in the warm climate. Gable roof, with reflective building material outside and insulation material inside in addition to overhangs for shade with a window below, is more advantageous to keep cool in house. In the day-time, the external material can reflect part of the heat into the air so as to diminish the heat. The heat which goes through the roof could be further reduced when cross the internal material. And at night, the stored heat can be removed through the window.

P.S. 老师,这种情况下还需要结尾吗,如果要的话,那应该写些什么.

Subject: What does the government need to do to support young people? Show these problems and give your ideas or suggestions to solve this issue.

Young people are the future of a country, and indispensable to a nation as well. However, government is so busy dealing with current affairs that doesn’t give heed to some problems confronting the young, which the following paragraphs will discuss.

Generally speaking, the government should attempt to realize what the youngsters really want when they embark on a massive program of reform. Unquestionably, opportunities that always provide a fresh start for those who just left school play an essential role in their growth. New laws can be enacted to protect young people’s rights from being dismissed deliberately by some enterprises after the probationary period. Thus, these graduates will be more ambitious with job-hunting.

What’s more, despite the chances offered by the employers, could our young men be poised to resist complex pressure coming from a variety of jobs? That’s also the problem the government should make a point of. Utilizing authoritative power to cooperate with the local medium is an effective way to publicize some positive ideas about how to look upon and relieve stress, from which the young can learn to adapt themselves to different environment. In addition, courses can be arranged to help young people cultivate an optimistic mind which is meaningful to their subsequent life.

In summary, only when the government is clearly aware of what youngsters need and lack can they choose some appropriated methods to support a country’s offspring and help them stick to the right path in life.

Subject:Will modern technology, such as the internet ever replace the book or the written word as the main source of information?

Recently, more and more people use the modern technology in their lives, such as reading, shopping, banking in the internet. So there is a public debate today that whether internet will substitute the traditional books and write as the most important source of information. In my view, despite the modern technology is significative to our virtual lives, the traditional book and write are still indispensable.

Firstly, we must acknowledge the truth that modern technology is labor-saving, money-saving, time-saving in most of modern industries. For the perilous and repetitive work which is monotonous and tedious, using modern technology will increase the efficiency and productivity of work. A good case that robot can do the dangerous and fussy work instead of human workers and even much better than original labor, and which guard against the risk of labor and capital.

However, rely on modern technology too heavily, it will deteriorate the flexibility and self-motivation of humans. Once it breaks down, it will cause disastrous consequence. For example, we can reading lots of E-books on line and find various solutions of different questions in internet, this lead us to think less than before. The reason is that we always find answers directly by the research tools such as google, baidu. If the internet get malfunction in a day, it must be out of our wits.

In my opinion, traditional books and write can not be replaced by the internet. As an old saying goes that everything is a concave-and-convex-sides nutshell. The best way is use both of the general and modern technology in rationality.

Nowadays, skills such as making your own clothes and doing repairs to things in the house are disappearing. Why do you think this change is happening? How far is this situation true in your country?

作文:

When I was a teenager, my mother made almost every cloth for me and my brother, including the underwears, shirts, frocks and so on.If something went wrong in our family, my father repaired it by himself. Whereas now,I always buy clothes for my daughter, and have them repaired by tailors. I wouldn't spent time on them because I think it is unworthy. Why have these changes been happening? I will give some striking reasons afterwards.

What is of top priority is that our living standard has been improved a lot and our lifestyle has changed. In the past, most of the family income was focused on food. It was uneasy for a family to guarantee that every member of it didn't suffer from hunger and cold.In my family, my parents always bought some cloth to home and had it done by my mother, not considering the style and fashion. However, now I have enough income with my husband and food only accounts for a minor portion of our expenditure. Although house and education occupy a majority of our income, we have enough money on clothes. In fact, everyone of us has plenty of clothes, including different stylish and fashionable ones. So in my opinion economic development is the most significant reason for disappearance of some artificial skills.

On the other thoughts, we have so much activities on our work that time is always limited for us. When we get home after work, we usually feel exhausted. But this doesn't stop. We have to fill-up and cover-up oufselves, otherwise we would be deprived of our core competence and our cake would be moved easily, thus we would be eliminated by the sociey. So we hardly have time or energy on such things as clothes making or repairing in house.

Saving last for best, what's neglected but worthy of being mentioned is that, our children, who have spent most of their time on school curriculum and homework from their teachers, has no time to learn these traditional skills.

In most cities of China, this phenominon is popular. I have done four jobs in different companies. Almost everyone of my colleagues do not make clothes for them or their children and they all ask specialized workers to fix their electronical appliance when they are out of order.

From the above perspective, I strongly believed that it's unavoidable and irreversible that some traditional skills will be dying out gradually among most unspecialized people.

说明:这篇文章虽修改多次,但还是感觉太冗长,尤其开头段太长,不知是不是有这个问题。有些词想改得档次高一点但又感觉太刻意不自然,好像垃圾词汇是不是多了点?请指教。

Human beings landed on the moon thirty years ago. It cost plenty of money and resources to develop the space technology. Do you agree or disagree that people should do that?

Human beings’ succeeding in landing on the moon thirty years ago was a milestone in the history of space exploration, however, which cost astonishingly huge amounts of money and resources , and thus, arouse the fierce arguments on whether the space technology deserves this high price. As to me, people should take further research into this field, mainly due to the higher reward and more stressed earth. (66)
As far as the former, for one thing, the communications satellite that relay back to the earth telephone messages or radio and TV signals received from another part of the earth facilitate the communication, diversify our daily life, and lighten business expense. For another one is that food or plants being taken into space will cause genetic mutation, which are applied into the medicine field in a large scale, bring us advanced medical skills and then save more people’ s lives, what is our indeed expectation but not countless money. As for the latter reason, the earth pressure comes of larger population and unbridled wasting the natural resources, so the probing of space will broaden our survival land. It is no denying the fact that we could ameliorate the current conditions through lowering birth rate especially in rural areas and making better use of the resources, but no one can foresee the future and what we can do is save it for a rainy day. (76)
The root problem is embarrassingly corrupt governments and ineffective half-measures taken to make full use of the funds and materials, which is merely equivalent to digging out own graves. So what deserve our heed is how to solve these knotty problems but not whether it is worthy of developing the space technology. (52)

The government should spend the large amount of money it is channeling into artistic and cultural projects on basic infrastructure projects instead. Do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
It has been suggested that the government should put weight on building infrastructure projects rather than artistic and cultural ones, which placed the government into a dilemma to decide which part the support garnered to. As far as I am concerned, solely adapting only one policy will do little to effect social change. (51)
The question has often been raised as to what extent the two respective aspect could meet the demand of citizens. One can readily recount the instances of the seniors doing physical exercises by using the community’ s infrastructure and commuters shuttling through the cities by means of public transport. It is hard to estimate the life’s satisfaction can be traced back to the basic infrastructure but the existence of such instances are undeniable. Logically, physical satisfaction can meet the demands of people to some extent, and the combination of mental one is much better, such as art and culture, especially when economy has reached a comparatively advanced level. (106)
With the high speed of our society’s running, people are prone to be heart-empty and mental consolation undoubtedly smooth and relieve people’s spiritual suffering. We visit the museums every week or month to know about the history and culture of a country or dynasty, gradually pay attention to the highlights catch your eye, and then, lead a meaningful life. The degree to how people are comforted by the artistic and culture projects are on the basis of physical content, which can be pleased by the public infrastructure, so it could be immediately surmised that the most direct solution is to combine these two aspects. (99)
Therefore, sponsor the basic infrastructure, to some extent, tackle the problems but is far from thoroughly and the combination of artistic and culture projects is much better than make use of merely one of them.

We can witness that the reason why adult choose to learn something , with the interest in the related subjects, majority of the adult decide to attend education course, with the percentage of 40%,comparatively ,about 38% adults study for the qualifications, and there is just 9% adult receiving education in order to meet people. There is about 22 percent of adults believe study is helpful for their current job ,and respectively ,20% of them want to improve prospects of promotion and enjoy learning /study,the remaining reason is to be able to change jobs ,with 12%.

Related to who should pay for the educaton fee, Individual takes up a large majority of total costs , with 40%,and a quarter of the costs should be shared by taxpayer, the remaining 35 percent is due to employers.
And contrast with the above chart, it appears that some person choose the Reason for study for more than one.

题目:Human beings landed on the moon thirty years ago. It cost plenty of money and resources to develop the space technology. Do you agree or disagree that pp should do that?

Human beings landed on the moon thirty years ago, which of course acts as a stereotype in the field of science, while on the other hand it raises much controversy. Some people hold that it is exorbitant to develop the space technology, and government should pay more attention on the standard of people’s life. Personally, I share this point of view for the following reasons.

It is probably natural and indispensable to spend plenty of money on these affairs for those advanced countries who have settled the physiological needs. However, as for the less-advanced countries, settlement of physiological needs for survival is more significant than spending extravagant amount of money on space research according to Maslow’s theory. It’s just depicted as a pyramid with five steps which stands for five hierarchical needs of people respectively, at the bottom of which is men’s physiological need. In accordance with it, the government should firstly focus on how to improve people’s living standard farthest(最大程度的) in an economical way, such as improving the infrastructure construction to facilitate the citizens.

Furthermore, with the burgeoning of some VIPs( Very important powers), the genuine aim of space research has been converted to those profitable items for interests such as Global Defense System. Some of them do it purely out of self-actualization as well as self-boost regardless of extremely high cost.

Therefore, for the above reasons, I strongly insist that government should avoid such expenditure as possible as they can. They should see the well-being of people as a high priority, at least in this period of time. However, space research eventually would be backed up when human beings come into a new era.

The progression of science and society is inevitable and undeniable. What is under controversy is whether business and government forbid smoking cigarettes in the office and the public place. To be frank, I agree with banning smoking in the office and all public places. I will explain my viewpoint in the following paragraphs
As we know, smoking is not only harmful ours health but also damage other’s benefit. Health is the most important thing to us, but smoking is harmful for our health. The worst thing is that the damage of cigarette to the person without smoking is larger than smoker. According to a professional magazine, 60 percent smoker have heart disease which is arose by cigarette, 95 percent person without smoking who usually stay in smoking environment, have heart trouble.
Moral and principle do not allow our smoking in the public place. A research indicates that sootiness can damage person’s mood. In the street or on the bus we often find some person frown suddenly when they smell the taste of cigarette. If you have a dinner in restaurant, you find one person is smoking, and making the pollution of the cigarette around the table, I believe that, no matter what delicious, you will have not any appetite to eat.
In a word, smoking in the public place is harmful for health, others profit and society. We should remember clearly that don not smoking in the public place is good for our health, our environment and our future.

Popular events like the football world cup and other international sporting occasions are essential in easing international tensions and releasing patriotic emotions in a safe way.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Popular events are the focus of the whole world which appeal to almost everyone in despite of nationality, racialism, language and culture. It is just because of the special magic of the popular events that people gathered to one place for one reason display their skills and capabilities through fair competition under open and equitable rules putting aside discriminations, conflicts and tensions between nations and present patriotic emotions in winning prizes with pride.

Taking the Olympics as example, people around the world watch the opening ceremony every four year and feel excited when the team representing their own nation entering the arena area. After the 9 11 and Iraq war, people especially paid attention to the presence of Iraq national team and looked forward to their participation which sent out the signal that Iraq can overcome the war plague and they are still one member of the world family. It is of most significance when the national team of the North Korea and the South Korea walked into the stadium together shoulder by shoulder in 1984. All political disputes and conflicts and dissents disappeared at that moment and the events ask people to show their high spirit representing the whole nation.

Though the popular events have the power to ease international tensions and release patriotic emotions through sports competition, it sometimes can be changed and distorted at extremity. During the war I and war II period, the dictators manipulated the events. Though the Olympics took place at that time, the heavy glove covered the arena and the event was not the one embodied it’s own nature and later on the event was suspended till the end of the war. We can understand through this special period that the sports are the mirror of the world and sports just like the world which needs freedom, independence and equity.

In short, people enjoy the popular events which bring happiness, peace and solidarity to us through the most primitive but equitable way. The events can link people, nation, region and the world together by the spirit which we all pursuit and strive for.

When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

With the social and economic development, the world has been changed tremendously with high technology. When Skyscrapers and highways outline the modern cities of each country, you will increasingly recognize the unique charms only traditional skills and ways can bring out and make the world a difference.

As a traveler, there’re no surprises for you to take Toyota bus, live in Shangri-La hotel and eat McDonald’s in any country. However, what you really look for and enjoy is the ancient history sites, the traditional skills and ways the local people used in past and maybe in present. Even the most developed countries are trying to keep their traditional culture complete and alive because it’s impossible for us to develop our live without traditional skills and ways. Of course electricity has replaced manmade power, computer has calculated all large and complicated figures. However, in China the delicious traditional cuisines are popular day to day; the dedicated silk products are exported and even sent as gift to visiting country president. People are proud of the Siheyuan, Hutong – the traditional residence in Beijing.

Traditional skills and ways of life can not only continue to play their function but also benefit people if we can improve and make use of it. For instance, China has been studying successfully the cook tail prescription to cure HIV/AIDS by the adoption of Chinese traditional herbal and Western medical skills which can reduce the medicine cost and therefore can be promoted to the poverty area like Africa to curb the prevalence of HIV/AIDS.

The tradition is the treasure we should cherish and value which can not be replicated and only exist in each nation with their special magic power. We should never forget them and try to keep them alive and we can one day really see the pearl in it.

a pie chart 就是是暑假上课发的红书的80页上的一张图说daily water input and output 的
Daily water intake and output are shown in the above two pie charts of the human body respectively.Obviously,we can notice that the quantity of water input equals to the output to keep balance in our body, totaling to 2500c.c per day, both in input and output, and there's four forms of water loss while only two sources for water supply for our body.
We gain water mostly from solid food we eat ,which accounts for 60% of water intake and fluids we take occupies the remaining 1000 c.c,approximately 40%.
Water losses mainly in liquid water processed by kidneys in our body with the ratio of nearly 60% of all water output .Water processed by sweat is the second largest source of water loss, taking up 20%(500c.c).Lastly 16% of wateroutput is processed by lung as water vapor and the remaining water 100c.c of water input nearly 4% of water loss ,which is due to the form of solid wastes, only covers 1/10 of the counterpart that we extracts from the solid food previously.

TO a country, young people are very important to the development of it.But I think the governments alway ignore some part of the education of young people. Nowadays, many graduated students who have high deploma, but they also couldn't find a proper jop.Different people has different opinions, but in my opinion ,here are these reasons as follows:
Firstly, the educational policies in china are short of improving young people's practice ability. For example, one of my classmates who has a great mark at school. But when she was interviewed by the interviewer, she found herself like a fish out of water and she didn't know how to answer the questions which the interviewer gave. So, I feel that a country must attach importance to improving young people's practice ability to help them deal with the jop finding cases.
Secondly, the educational system which is drawing up by the governments limits the young people's creativity. To compare with the westen country students, chinese students are more inflexible than them. Their minds are tied to the books. It leads to the chinese students are not interested in the outside events. As to me that is the wrong of exam-oriented education. The government must change this terrible policy into quality education.
Young people are the hope of a county. The chinese great person nanmed Deng Xiaoping said:Education must pay close attention to young people. Therefore the governmentshould reform polity of education. They could forcus on developing young people's practice and creative ability. Then young people could become more mature and steady. So they can suit with the changing society. They can do more useful thing to a country's development.

题目是 精品班讲义P16,PRR里的第3题,关于压力的解决问题

Nowdays, people often stay up too late, whatever he works for his employee or study at university. It is a fact that morden people live under stress.Despite of the versatility and complexity of the instrument,I would put forward some of the most striking ones and offer the alternatives afterward.

Morden people lead unhealthy life styles, especially in urban areas.Unhealthy life styles ,such as smoking, alcoholism, staying up,unbalance diet, lack of physical execrises,is detrimented to your physical health, which makes you unlverable to stress.Rapid pace of life, fierce competetion in society are other factors which are contributed to emotional illness, tension. Finally, the worse polluted enviroment, dusty air atmosphere for instance, affects people both physically and mentally.

To solve this problem, firstly, people should find uesful methods to release pressure. They can creat a diversion from their work and study into hobbies.Sports, travel and entertainments are benifical activities. Secondly, the balance of diet also play a significant role on physical health.Intaking various nutritions and pleny of water make sure that you can enjoy a energetic and effective day.

An apple a day keeps doctors away.To sum up,the reasons for stress are tremendous. I have simply pointed out some of the more obvious ones.Nevertheless, it is certain that more and more people raise their awareness about declining stress, pay more attention on healthy life style.I believe that our life quality will be improved dramatically through solving this problem.

The graph reveals information about the condition of Participation in Higher Education in Australia in 1989. That contains 3 areas of urban areas, rural areas and remote areas.

It is clearly that no matter in anywhere, women receiving advanced education seems higher than what men do. The percentage shows in cities, countries and undeveloped places of this nation there are nearly 40%, 30% and 20% of them have opportunities to study in colleges to get further information. However, compared with female, conditions for male may be a little worse. About 5% lower than that of women in these special areas.

In addition, we can also find people receiving college education decrease dramatically from rich regions to distressed zones. In large cities, over 35% of men and women could walk into colleges or universities. But in some small towns in the countries only less than 30% of people have chances to do the same thing. Slightly higher than 20% of Senior Students who have graduated from high schools may share the opportunities. So the poorer where is, the more difficult knowledge spreads out.

P79
Coal made up 47% comparatively majority source of energy production while Nuclear accounted for only 1%.Following 16% and 12% were shared by Hydro and oil respectively. And the remaining 24% was due to Natural Gas.
In 1980, the percentage of coal crept up by 4% while Nuclear outpercentaged its counterpart by 10 times. There was a decrease of 9% in the percentage of Natural Gas. We can also witness a slump of 9% in Natural Gas in the year of 1980. What is worth mentioning is Oil was almost stagnant during the decade.

P72
All statistics can be categorized into three stages with the equilibrium between death and birth rate of the first decade of the 20th century, the predominance of the birth rate in the following 20 years and the predominance of the death rate from 1930 to 1970.
As to the death rate, it abated from 1900 to 1930 and then soared to its peak at 50% in 1940, following by an ebbing in the rest of the 30 years.
At the side of the birth rate, we can witness a stabilization during the first decade and a dramatical increase in the next decade, reaching a summit of 60%. There was a slump from 1920 to 1940 and rose and fell evenly until 1960. It abated similarly as its counterpart to 20% in the end.

实验动物

There is a heated controversy nowadays concerning the issue of using live animals as researching objects. Those who criticize this conduct contend that it is dispensable to do such kind of research .The other side of the coin has voiced strong opposition, saying that human beings benefit immensely from this issue.Personally, I side firmly with the latter opinion.

Firstly,it is undenible that the status of animal experiments can not be replaced in a certain research field such as medicine, biology, etc. For example, each kind of new drugs must be applied on some animals before they are used to cure patients, which ensures safety and effectiveness of the majority of the medicines. To some extent,it is the unique and the best approach to getting the most similar results from animals` reaction towards some sorts of substance humans are studying in.

Furthermore, considering economy suport, this kind of experiments is cost-effctive and adjustable for scientists to do.Man has witnessed hundreds of new inventions created after approximately thousands of faliures in laboratories.Repeated process is essential in scientific studies and doing experiments on animals let the researches can be duplicated.

Finally, people can know more about themselves by studying animals in specific circumstances.According to genetic scientists, human beings, though, have totally different appearance with mice, they are quite similar in terms of gene. Therefore, the results of researches can help people to get further knowledge about ones'body.

Nevertheless,on the other hand,we can not deny that some people are still treating animals mercilessly.Hence, government should releases more legislations on the welfare of experiment animals as well as improving the equipments in labs.

Judging from above evidence offered ,we can safely concluded that the advantages of doing animal experiments are over the diadvatages. What worth doing in the future is to make sure the positive ones are encourages while the negative ones are eliminated as soon as possible.

Is this necessary to improve education / medical center?

I don’t agree with this idea for the following reasons.

It is undeniable that education plays an important role in the development of a country. However, for less-developed and developing countries, settlement of physiological needs for survival is more significant than spending extravagant amount of money on additional education according to the Maslow’s theory. In the theory, five needs to different extent are located in a hierarchical pyramid-like triangle, which stands for reasonable needs of people in different stages of life. Unlike those developed countries where the civilian are content with their living standard, government in small economies should pay more attention to people’s physiological needs instead of requirements in a higher level.

On the other hand, due to the burgeoning of some VIPs (very important powers), the genuine aim of education has been converted to those profitable items for interests. They invest abundant of money to improve their educational equipment not simply for the interest of students, instead, but for the huge amount of profit it brings.

Therefore, for the above reasons, government should foremost invest the money on infrastructure construction of the less-developed cities and improve the civilian’s living standard rather than education. I believe that success will be closer to us as long as we take right steps. .

Topic:
The pie chart below describe the electric energe production ,a major source of energe in the US...

my essay

As can be seen from the chart, the composition of the electric energy production was different in 1970 and 1980. In 1970, nearly a quarter of the source of energy was shared by the natural gas, and in terms of coal, it covered a comparatively majority of the source of the energy, with 47 percent, while nuclear occupied a small portion, with only 1 percent. The remaining 16 percent is due to Hydro.

The year of 1980 witnessed a great sharp increase for the nuclear, from only 1 percent in 1970, to 11 percent. The coal also enjoyed a 4 percent increase in 1980. However, the nuclear gas dropped by 9 percent, from 24 percent in 1970 to 15 percent in 1980. Nuclear was not the only one who suffered a decrease, another source of energy that fell down was hydro, but its amplitude is comparatively small, only 4 percent. Compared with those described above, the oil almost remained stable in 1980.

Task:The graph below shows radio and television audiences throughout the day in 1992.

This chart describes the population of radio and television during the whole day in 1992. From the chart we can see that all the statistics can be categorized into two stages, with the popularity of listening to radio from about 6am to 1 pm, and the popularity of watching TV during the rest of the day.

Over the time from 6 am to 8:15 am, the population of radio soared and reached a peak of almost 30 percent at 8:15, then it mainly ebbed in the rest of the day, with a slight increase from 3 pm to 4 pm and from 10:30 pm to 10:45 pm. In terms of television, the population rose and fell evenly during the whole day, but it can still be divided into two stages. From 6 am to 8 am, the population was soaring, reaching a zenith of approximately 50 percent at 8 am. In this period, there was a tiny decrease from 10 am to 11 am and from 1 pm to 3 pm. Then it slumped until 2 am of the next day, followed by a stable level of 5 percent in the rest of the day.

红书P72 death rate and birth rate

According to the chart, there are two curves showing the fluctuation of death rate and birth rate in a developing country in seventy years, from 1900 to 1970. From the chart we can see that all the statistics can be categorized into three stages, with the equilibrium from 1900 to 1910, then the death rate prevailed from 1910 to 1930, and after that the birth rate override the death rate in the rest of the period.

From 1900 to 1910, the death rate nearly stayed steady, but during the following ten years, it surged and reached a pinnacle at 6 percent in 1920. Then it subsided and bottomed out at appropriately at 2.5 percent in 1940. But the year from 1940 to 1950 witnessed a slight increase of the death rate, and then it began to fall down again.

In terms of the birth rate, it almost remained stable from 1900 to 1930, then it surged correspondingly from 1930 to 1940, reaching a peak at 5 percent in 1940, and from then on it ebbed in the rest of that period.

Red book p78/ THANKS A LOT

As it shew in the first pie, in 1970, the percentage of Coal covered a comparatively majority of the electric energy production with a percentage of 47%, while the Nuclear constituted the minority portion of the total, with only 1%. We can find that Oil and Hydro were in moderation, with 12% and 16% respectively. And the remaining was Natural Gas, with 24%.
The changes of the major source of US from 1970 to 1980 can be divided into three types. First, the percentage of Nuclear in 1980 soared during the ten years, was 11 times as much as it was in 1970. While the Coal in 1980 increased gently, outpercentaged its countpart by 4%. Second, we can witness a obvious decrease of Natural Gas with a perecntage by 9%. At the same time, there was also a slight decrease of Hyro with 4%. The last, as to Oil, it remained almost stable from 1970 to 1980, at nearly 12%.

Complementary materials p2/ Thanks a lot

The two pies tell us the differences between two groups of Australians (25 to 34 an 55 to 69 years old) in terms of their post-school qualifications. It is clear that the main fields of study to younger group and elder ones are not the same, including three types.
To one thing, somes fields are more popular in group old than those in group young. First, Engineering in group old is double as much as that in group young, with a percentage of 19.72% and 9.35% respectively. Second, Architecture and Medicine are slight more in elder group than in younger group, with 2.96%,11.35% vs 1.84%, 7.4%.
To another thing, as to Administration and Law and Science, Maths, Computers, things are different with the former. Administration in younger group covers the comparatively majority of the fields, compaired with the younger group, the percentage of that in elder group is three-fourth. Law and Science, Maths, Computers in elder group are almost the half as much as those in the younger ones.
The last one is there are almost no significant variations between the two groups in fields Education and Veterinary, Agriculture and Social Dciences, Arts and Others.

The remaining percentages are in moderation, with 9.35% for Engineering, 7.4% for Medicine and 5.53% for Law consequently.
Now let’s turn to look at the second chart with the age of 55 to 69. It is evident that the percentage of Engineering had doubled compared with its counterpart. Otherwise, some subject such as Social Science had tiny range of variation, just from 19.48% to 20.42%. As for Veterinary, Agriculture, it almost stayed steady.

1.很多人认为住在乡下比城市好,你是同意还是不同意?
Nowadays it is an undoubted fact that someone believes living in rural areas seems much better than staying in large cities. So a lot of students and officials also have changed their minds to decide to move to countryside. However, in my opinion, I can’t accept the so-called view.

As can be seen that a city covers such advantages we need. Firstly, just image people feel it is convenient to go to work or go shopping even each corner in cities naturally. For example, once you are attending a significant conference but remains only 20 minutes left for you. What will you do with that? Actually in a modern city what you should do may be call for a taxi to take you to the company by crossing avenues. Perhaps you could spare time reading daily news over a cup of coffee. Or you may consider choosing local bus, subway and train if time permitting. What’s more, supermarkets, including mini shops, malls and various special markets, all of which are supplying millions of goods from other places and fresh vegetable, meat and fruit you need consume everyday. Moreover, perfect communicating system makes you easily search information online what you want to use in a short while. And digital library opens for each citizen now matter when you open its index. So, points above fully illustrate good points living in downtown, of course which occupy few parts of all.

However, let’s analyze the disadvantages of staying in countryside. Although I have to admit something better for that just like unpolluted water, soil and air, compared with city, the most negative group may be undeveloped traffic condition. You can hardly think out how terrible in some remote part of China. Suppose a farmer with his wife and their kids make a decision to buy something in a city belonging to the same province on Sunday, they should prepare for this journey on Saturday’s night. Tomorrow morning all of them spend 1 hour to get to the station and wait for half an hour to arrive in the city by bus. After a happy shopping trip, what they must do firstly is to catch the last bus to back home. Furthermore, signals for calling always uncover rural regions that cause unnecessary trouble to communicate with others. The third reason is lack of efficient medical and treatment department. Once you are unlucky to get something wrong with your body, most of time you have to seek large hospitals in cities.

In a word, I suggest everyone unless anything necessary you own, or else it is better to stay in cities.

2.剑6 TEST-2 TASK1
The table reveals information about changes in modes of travel in England which arranging from 1985 to 2000.

From that we can also know the method to calculate is by get the average distance in miles traveled per person per year. In 1985, as can be seen that using cars occupies nearly 75% of all and pointed 3199 miles. In addition 429 miles for choosing local bus comparatively that each person may cost 255 miles in walking and 289 miles in going to some places by train. Then three types of transportation appear 51 miles, 54 miles and 13 miles referring differently to bicycle, long distance bus and taxi per year. The remaining group is other kinds of traffic facilities that cover the second largest part: 450 miles each one a year.

After 15 years, something has changed clearly that more people select to drive their own cars because number shows about 1600 miles higher than the level of 1985. And there seems a dramatically rise in long distance bus from 54 miles to 124 miles. With the same trend of train, taxi and others, in a new century all of them increase smoothly to 366 miles, 42 miles and 585 miles. Compared with the upward group some kinds of transportation fall gently such as local bus, 150 miles lower than before after 15 years. Besides, miles in bike decrease to 41 miles, and we can witness a fall in walking of nearly 20 miles.
So all modes still boom to 6475 miles, 1735 miles higher than 1985. Over half of modes rising leads the result.

From the graph we can find that all the statistics, the brith rate and death rate in a developing country from 1930 to 1970, can be categorized into three types.
First, with equilibriam between birth rate and death rate from 1900 to nearly 1910, the number is about 40 per thousand.
Second, in the following decade, the birth rate was higher than death rate. But the fluctuations were different. On the one hand, the death rate crept down during the whole decade, while the birth rate surged from 40 per thousand to 60 per thousand in the first ten years, and then subsided to the same point with death rat, approximataely 34 per thousand.
Finally ,things changed from 1930 to 1970. During that period, the death rate was much higher that birth rate. It’s obvious that the death rate surged form 1930 to 1940, reaching a peak of nearly 50 per thousand, and then ebbed in the following years. Meanwhile, the birth rate crept down during that time, bottoming out at 25 per thousand in 1970, but there was a small rise from 1940 to 1950.

Questions: “The idea of going overseas to study is an exciting prospect for many people. But while it may offer some advantages, it is probably better to stay home because of the difficulties a student inevitably encounters living and studying in a different culture.”

The economy in China nowadays grows rapidly, thus, people pay more attention to education. So there arises a social dilemma over the issue of whether it is better to stay home than go overseas to study. Some people believe that it is probably better to stay at home because they think a student will encounters living and studying in a foreign country inevitably. To be frank, I am in favor of the possibility of going overseas to study the reason is that students can practice themselves from physical to mental.
To begin with, going oversea to study can broaden and widen students’ perspective. In foreign countries, students can know various cultures. In addition they can learn a lot of knowledge which it’s hard for them to command of in china. For instance, if one is major in design, he can go his further study in Paris. We all know that France is famous for dress design. Many world top brands such as Louis Vuittion, D&G and Parada always have their dress show in Paris. And they van be command of a lot of various design skill in that place. What’s more, they can integrate different culture element with their own design.
Because of the “One Child Policy”, most families only have one child. So parents devote their love only to one child. These children are always spoiled by their parents. Going overseas to study, on the other side can make them more independent in their future life. When students go abroad, they may face many unexpected troubles but they have to deal with them by themselves. To some extent, these difficult situations may improve their endurance. Under these circumstances, they may be more sophisticated when overcoming these difficulties.
Although study abroad may encounter living and studying difficulties such as language barrier, these troubles provide good opportunities for personal growth. In conclusion, those who want to go further study abroad will benefit a lot.

题目:The charts below show the percentage of people employed in different types of industry, during the period 1970 to 2000, in Britain and china.
正文:

The graph mainly illustrates the percentage of people employed in four types of industry during the year from 1970 to 2000 in both Britain and China.

According to the charts, it can be easily indicated that all the statistics can be categorized into three groups with the trend of rising in items such as agriculture in Britain and finance in China, decreasing in agriculture in China, fluctuating in items including computer science in Britain, manual labor in China, and so on.

As for the manual labor, it fluctuated comparatively dramatically within a range of nearly 40 percent, reaching a peak at 61 percent in 1970, and bottoming out at 20 percent in 1990, it is the similar case with computer science in China. In terms of the finance in Britain and agriculture in China, they fluctuated within a range of 10 percent and 30 percent respectively. For the agriculture in Britain and manual labor in China, they averaged out at 20 percent and 30 percent respectively.

What is worth mentioning is that since the overall percentage in 1990 in Britain and in 1970, 1980 in China add up to above 100 percent, it indicates that some people may obtained some vocation. However, the overall percentage in 1980 and 2000 in Britain add up to below 100 percentage, which revealed that some people may be engaged in some industries unlisted.

It is a fact of life that many problems that overpopulation caused bring serious aftermaths to people. These problems involve economy and development of the living condition. Here I will explain and give some advices about these problems.

Firstly, poverty is a primary criminal to cause overpopulation. The population of the world is made up of 47 percent African, 32 percent Asian and 21 percent European. On the contrary, the European economy is the Asian’s triplication and is the African’s octuple. In African country, especially in impecunious country, country’s economy depends on agriculture, and the level of agriculture’s mechanization is much low. So workforce is the key of the economical development. That is why the overpopulation of Africa is the most serious in the world.

Secondly, due to the improvement of the living condition, life span has become more and more longer than foretime. A research indicates that the death rate has decreased 67 percent between 1980s and 1990s around the world, and the primary reason is the living condition’s improving.

In a word, we should take action to solve these problems that overpopulation caused. In my opinion, promoting economy(and implementing family planning are the crucial points. The development of economy is helpful for enhancing mechanization and declining workforce. As a result of the implementation of family planning, the rate of the population increasing has declined 56 percent.

Overpopulation is harmful for society’s development. We hope our society develops more and more fast than before. So we should try our best to solve these problems.

Over the history, people never stop arguing about whether hero creates history or history makes hero. In my opinion, an individual can transform the society in which he or she lives. Since this person has the quality of strong personal attractiveness, be rich in explore spirit as well as leading power, and plays a role of leader. The leader’s behavior makes a remarkable effect on the masses, therefore, the field he or she is in or even the whole society would be made over.

It is true that an individual has a limited power, without the masses’ support, the transformation can hardly be taken. However, if we look back through the history, have analysis the improvements human beings had experienced, the passed records had witnessed that there is no social reformation ever be possible without the first effect of change by the individual. To this extent, individual can make up the transform of society. Actually, the leader objectively exists in almost every social group, such as a court has the judge, a school has the principle, and a country has the president. The leader’s determination can make a significant chance of the situation he or she is in. A leader does not have to be at a high political level, but the spirit he or she holds must be powerful enough to affect others.

A leader, who has strong personal attractiveness, has passion for people and integrity, always earn public’s respect and trust. Some people will follow by those ideas, and make more widespread impact than others. Therefore, the society can be transformed. For example, ShenYin, who gave up high-salary job and went to be a volunteer teacher in a poor region in Shanxi province. She teaches English and music, bringing a magic world to those mental-pured students. She also initiated a “Happy Box Charity”, some residents in Shanghai were encouraged by Shen’s behavior, and donate their money and objects to Shanxi, feeling rich in spirit. Another example is Zhou Chenguang, a physical education teacher in Beijing. He is crazy of spreading Olympic knowledge and spirit and do most of these purchase with his personal saving. Till today, he had spent over 100,000RMB on helping advance the Olympic movement, created over 1,000 games, held “mini-Olympic” games in schools. More and more people have received healthy benefits and happiness from doing sports, and believe that Olympic is a symbol of peace.

A leader, who is rich in pioneering talent, always has the desire and ability to create a larger context. Therefore, he or she can transform the society by enlarge the capacity. Alexander the Great is a good example. As a king of the Phillip, he is strong and intelligent. He was always dreamed to form a united country. After several years fight, he was eventually able to control a vast area range from the Ionian sea all the way to Northern. There is a city which still existing presently in Egypt named after him, evidence that Alexander had explored a wider frontier and made a significant change of society in his time.

A leader, who has the sufficient leading power, makes the correct decision, and point out the bright way to the people. His or her plans which do benefit both to individual and society, leads no doubt to earn the public’s supports. Therefore, the society has been transformed. Muhammad Yunus, who won the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, first thought up the Micro-finance---helping poor people by lend them several dollars loans. This is a fantastic idea, which not only provides more opportunity for banks to make money, but also lead a large amount of poor people overcome poverty. In addition, change the fate of those poor families and reduce some other social problems. Since the Micro-finance has been accepted as a financial system, it will make a long lasting effect to human beings. Sooner or later the truth would be self-evident meeting the hypothesis, that poverty will be seen in the museum in the future.

In conclusion, to believe that an individual can transform the society he or she is living is not a spiritualist’s thought. The leader’s determination can chance the situation he or she is in. Just like a pyramid, although the vast fundamental can not be neglected, the leader on the top is definitely needed to shine its spirit, and accelerate the fundamental heart-change. As the process of an individual’s transform begins, the process of the social transform will start automatically, then the two interference each other on and on.

The best way to solve the world’s environment problems is to increase the price of fuel. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Use your own experience and give examples to support your ideas.

As environmental problems are getting worse during these years, some people suggest that rise the price of fuel can prevent the pollution and solve this problem. However, I do not concede it is the best or only way to resolve this problem. In my opinion, we should take efforts to find out alternative energy which is more friendly to the environment.

Apparently, I admit that rise the price of fuel will certainly prohibit some people using fuel. However, those people are relatively poor and account for a small part of fuel consumption. The rich who always take up a large amount of fuel are slightly affected by the adjustment of the price. At last, the effect of this policy is very unlikely. Moreover, too much rice of the price might leads to the inflation which is detrimental to both the economy development and people’s living standards.

What is needed, therefore, is alternative energy which is friendly to the environment. Scientists should do more research on the alternative energies. As the fuel is not renewable we should pay attention to whose energies that are easy to get and, at the same time, clean, such as solar energy, water energy, etc. I believe if we people can make a good use of these energies, we can resolve the environment problem on a higher level.

To sum up, it seems that simply rise the fuel price are not likely to resolve the environmental problems. Finding out a new and clean alternative energy is a more realistic method than yet another adjustment of the fuel price.

Of many problems, none is as wide-spread as college tuition in today’s society. With the increased reqirements for high education, the expensive fee has been put into the limelight and catched public’s eyeballs. Generally speaking, there are three different ways to solve this problem:the government pay for it, individual shoulder the responsibility or students use the load for it. According to consideration on many occasions, I believe that the third method is more appealing than others.

For the first approach, high education will become an easy pie for almost every student, as long as their marks meet the university entrance requirement. Youngers will have the equal chance to realize their future blueprint, whether they have rich fathers or not. Thus the vicious circle can be prevented, which used to start with a expenses are shared by individuals, government can invest much more money on social infrastructure construction, such as social medical care or public exercise facilities. By improving people’s living condition, as well as working condities on, more investors will be attracted , more employment opportunity will be provided, and more graduates will be able to find their satisfied jobs. Eventually , the development pace of society will be accelerated.

Although the above two ideas have their own advantages, we can not be blinded to the fact that the last one is the best solution. On the one hand, loans can act as stipulus to force students focus more attention on studies and grab every chance to earn money, which will help them to take the initiatives to make profits from their knowledge and build up their own living style. On the other hand, the amount of interests cannot be ignored, and with which government can function more smoothly .

The long views prevail over the short, and the broad considerations predominate over the narrow. In the nutshell, we could draw the conclusion safely that loan is more suitable than others, though it is not an instantly effective approach.

The cultural identity protection is shooting up rapidly today both in foreign countries and at home. There has long been under debate about the advantages and disadvantages understandably varying from one to another. Here in this essay, I will present my arguments about this issue as below:

Government is responsible primarily for protecting cultural identity of the entire nation. The inclusion of traditional style building is even vital to this area of protection and can’t be absent from the identical culture. Those opponents’ voices are the architecture should be built diversely. Let’s take the mega city for instance; they view it as a stage of exhibition with abundant new buildings. More and more skyscrapers spring out of the mud, even in the mega cities in China, a series of new buildings have been on track vow that they could far more higher than the Empire State Building in New York city. If so, the images of these major cities come to your mind therefore are as fashionable as New York. The globalization effect has contributed to this phenomenon undoubtedly.

However, modern building nowadays constructed by government obviously seem to be superfluous than before. The government particularly in china has much to do with it, since china enjoys its long history than most majority countries rest of the world. Nevertheless architecture inherits more than any other subject figures objectively from the historic elements. That’s to say, traditional building should preserve its uniqueness when the travelers tour around the city and make them could not acquire the resemblance in the other area of the world.

Also, the proponents who are true to their traditions strongly contend that new buildings should not destroy the holistic landscape of the city. When I made a trip to Suzhou this year, a city more than two thousand years old located in the east part of china, which is internationally-acclaimed for its four private-owned gardens. It’s unfortunately easier to find a set of modern buildings than that a decade ago. The local government has to be responsible for this fact and guarantee its fellow citizens the ancient buildings in Suzhou would not perish in the future. Not to mention, most modern buildings in such a city were there by government’s invitation.

To sum up, the traditional style building should have much priority over new one in a city and theoretically speaking, cultural identity protection ought to have a rising emphasis on the agenda of local government.

Unlike most countries, the police in the United Kingdom do not normally carry guns. Some people think it leaves the citizens unprotected, while others believe that practice reduces the overall violence in society. Discuss both views and use your own experience and evidence.

United Kingdom police, you may be taken aback, do not normally take guns with them. It is believed that incidence of violence is reduced by this practice, but maybe a closer examination is still necessary.

Such policy can no doubt be explained with reference to restriction of the use of guns. It has been speculated that much of the overall violence in society can be traced back to sufficient weapons there, in the way either abuse of guns from police, or illegal trades between police and criminals. Logically, removing guns from police reduces approaches for criminals to get weapons as well as abuse from police, and then should directly cut incidence of violence down, but this move may raise a change in an adverse direction.

Disarmed by the government, police may be transformed into a small role in the society, instead of the powerful one who stands for justice. In fact, the rights and duties of police are all based on their might given by weapons. How could you expect a mightyless police to fight with criminals? Police are not educators, their duties are just arresting criminals, and keeping our society run regularly. Therefore, considering police's violence itself, it could be immediately surmised that the most efficient and long-run solution is further education of responsibility for police. They should know how to use their weapons to carry out their duties responsibly.

Carrying guns is guarantee for implement of police's accountabilities. Rather than weakening the police to cut violence, more focus should be placed on their awareness of responsibilities.

题目:We will have intelligent machine-robots in the future to do the work instead of human beings. State the possible benefits and dangers of them for a university lecturer.

As the saying goes “Every cloud has a silver lining”. In this essay, I will attempt to present both sides of this issue of “Should the smart machine-robots takes places of any work of human beings in the future”.
First and foremost, the intelligent machine-robots certainly have the potential to bring about great advances for human beings. On the one hand, robots can do the dangerous and repetitive jobs for human beings, which saves the labor force to be engaged in other aspects and makes life comfortable and convenient. So, human beings could say goodbye to the monotonous and tedious jobs. On the other hand, robots can push back the frontiers of science and technology as an avant-courier through scientific research and experiment.
Further more, it is widely accepted by most that there are some drawbacks exist in abusing the robots. Rely on robots will lead to people’s deteriorating creativity, flexibility and self-motivation.. For instance, if we do not have anything to do, we will become “couch potatoes”, then we will loose our passions and curiosities of life. Also popularity of robots may deprive some staffs of their jobs. What’s even worse, being lenient in robots will make them the most advanced creature in the world.
The final point that I would like to make is that the bright side of using robots in the future do outweigh the dark side. Notwithstanding, what is important to remember is that robots will never replace human beings so that we should deal with them in a right way. Only by further developing in this way can we make sure that we can keep the balance between our real life and the advanced technology.

题目:Many people stay off working and studying. What reasons cause stress and how to solve it? Refer to your own experience.

Equal stress for equal work and study has long been an issue debated mainly in various countries around the world. People argue that varying stress scales for workers in different sectors are not a true reflection of their work’s value to society. In anther word, the certain low-paid jobs in most societies are reserved for women, people of color, and those with limited education. But, how about their stress? They also have a big burden of life as well as those who live in the highest position of the society. According to this, stress has become a big problem, which affects people a lot, in most societies.
The reasons of this problem are multi-faceted with different people. From the physical aspect, unhealthy life styles such as smoking, alcoholism, stay-up, unbalanced diet and lack of physical exercise will deteriorate your health. And physical deficiency as a result of malnutrition and insomia also can cause body dysfunction for stress. From the mental aspect, fierce competition in work and society cause people’s unevenness for a rainy day.
What is needed, therefore, is changing our physical and mental situation step by step. On one hand, we should build up our bodies through more nutrition intake and body exercising and polish our healthy life styles with wholesome hobbies to cultivate. For instance, outdoors recreation can best be described as leisure time which involves the pleasure and use of natural resources to relax and unwind. On the other hand, we should enlarge mental edification and spiritual abundance by filling-up, cover-up or appreciation of aesthetics.
What’s more, it has been suggested by leading researchers in the field of sociology that the government play an essence role in this big problem of stress. Its negative side effects need to be counteracted by reforms in government at the international, regional and local levels, such as spending more money on social security, issuing some laws and policies to remind the people of the importance of relaxation and establishing some festivals or anniversaries to promote people’s awareness and consciousness for decreasing the sense of stress.
All in all, we can enjoy our life and realize our dreams without too much stress around us.

Topic:Scientific and technological advances are very important in our society.Scientists are not able to give solutions to all the programs they have created. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
As we all know.Science and technology have been developed inconceivablely in the recent decades. The advance is more than total development of several century before. However there are also some opposite voice which question that scientific advance do more harm to the world than good.
In my opinion,The development and challenge is one sort of human nature. It can't be avoided.Futhermore the science and technology are developed for survival and living better. They do great contribution to continue our history and culture.
New technology do burning some tourble to our environment which is hard to dispose such as global warming, species extinction and so on.In fact ,the cause of these new problems is using new technology in old terrible habbits. For instance latest technology buring new substance which can't be decompounded naturally into rubbish that still threwn without any sorts of process as we use to do.Thus soil and rivers polluted deeply.Thereby, aweful habbits is the one need to be condemned.
Besides, solving problems also push the other development of technology.Troubles are not able to given solutions immedietly, but obviously not forever.
According to all points above,in conclusion, the technology and science need to be advanced undoubtedly,in addition they will bring considerable change to our planet in the future.

Topic:Some people say the age of books is past, and the information will be presented by some multimedia tools such as video, computer, television and film.Other think the book and the written words will be necessary for spreading information and complete education.Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Along with the development of technology of internet and multimedia. It seems that thusands of ways of gather information can we use to take a place of books such as films, webs, televisions and so on.That the books shoud continuesly used to memory and spread information has now been questioned,However some other people still stand for using traditional functions to do these things.
Before giving my opinion,I would like to look at the arguments on both sides. We have to admit the fact that new technology bring a lot of incredible changes benefit our life, they make the collection of facts multi-spreaded thus,More and more people prefer to get information by using high technological ways which can be understood more easier.Furthermore one more fact we can't deny is that new technology not only multi-spreaded but also transmited in high speed which is unprecedented.People can get the news only few minutes after it happend. And we can't help to notice that the kind of stuff like books defenitly can't do it.
In other hand, people who insist on using original methods to absorb information have their own reason. In view of security, these paper-sort ways do much better than multimedia. That's the reason why al sorts of important files and documents such as contrasts,pro-files are still using hand writen. More than that books always be written in a longer period which means more deeply viewpoints in it.When it comes to academic investgation or research, the collection of facts in books might be more useful than stuff which is more superficial and commen in websites.

老师,我12月13日考,麻烦您了...
With more and more passive actions like juvenile delinquency happening around us,more and more attention has been paid to children’s education. At the same time , a strong debate that who should take the chief responsibility, teachers or parents rises.
Some people are convinced that it is due to teachers without any doubt.Parents who has put their children in school wish a good management from teachers, rather than themselves. They just want to employ someone qualified to educate and take care of children . However, teachers here play only a complementary role in children’s education, they will pass the children some knowledge, skills to compromise with the environment, but very finite, in such a limited class time. The largest part of education will rely on their parents, who will stay with them all the time.
It is also so natural and reasonable for parents to take the main responsibility .They shouldn’t only give birth to them ,still not to nurture them,They have a obligation ,moral and legal,to build up an atmosphere to bring the children up ,physically and mentally. They should take care of them in every aspects from food to education ,from accommodation to transportation.Parents who will get rid of this responsibility to children’s education do not have the quality to be parents and will be hated by their children.
In conclusion, it is parents who should take the chief obligation to educate their children s.Teacher is only a way to help them to reach a target more quickly and easily. We can not put the cart before the horse.

4)Some people think that news media have become much more influential in people's lives today and that this is a negative development. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
This century, with the development of mass media, it has played a more significant role in society that in the past. News meida seems to be omnipresent nowadays.Nonetheless, every jade has its freckle. There occurs a concern over whether news media is a negtive development .I would like to put forward the pros and cons of news media respectively, and then pose my personal view towards it.

To begin with,it is evident that the advanced news media bring people latest news both locally and internationally, with the aid of satellite, which provides us with the precondition to be qualified global citizens. The news media, especially the Internet media, does a great convinience for occupying comtemporaries--as long as they have access to the Internet, they can keep up with the Jonese anytime and anywhere.

In contrary, it seems the news media technique negatively impacts people's daily life and become a hindrance against human being's process of civilization. Due to the convenience it brings us, we prefer sitting in front of the computer, solely clicking mouses all the day, rather than to go out to keep in touch with the surrounding community. People become bleak to the environment around them and enstranged each other because of the less and less face-to-face communication. Even they tend to be couch patatoes, which is precisely a degeneration of humans.

From my point of view, news media is a two-eged sword. Dwelling in a fiercely competitive society, we do need a simple but efficient way to be informed of what is happening out of our eyesight. On the other hand, we cannot become lax owing to its convenience. Travelling overseas with friends or family is also necessary, and it makes us have genuine experience of the various culture and custom which can never be got from news media, broading our horizen and enlightening us.

In a nutshell, we shall take advantage of news media an meanwhile be aware of the potentially influence from it. Just do our best to keep the balance, though it may be a dillema for most of us.

5)Is children’s education chiefly the responsibility of parents or teachers?
As more and more concerns are paid to children in modern society, there arises a social debate it is whose responsibility for children’s education. Some argues that parents should take more responsibility; while others pose it is in the charge of teachers. Actually, it is difficult to clearly define the boundary between parents’ and teachers’ charge, and thus for my aspects, they are both significant.

In general, parents have more influence on the establishment of children’s personal value. Especially for early-aged kids, they tend to consider their parents as role models or heroes. As a result, they imitate what their parents do no matter that is right or wrong. Meanwhile, children’s preference is likely to be the same as parents’. Provided that parents are painters or musicians, children will probably be obsessed with something related to art. However, due to the lack of sufficient discretion, children may pick up some negative habits from their parents, such as smoking or drinking.

In addition, it is widely believed that children spend most of time with teachers besides parents. Therefore, teachers play a crucial role in children’s education as well. As children’s main source of knowledge, teachers input knowledge into their mind rather than cram it, which is the basic function of teachers. A qualified teacher serves as a bridge between students and dilemma. By consulting teachers can children cope with problems more efficiently and effectively. A superlative teacher like a compass at sea can proved children with abundant opportunities for edification and enlightenment, paving the way for children’s development in society.

Above all, as a maxim says that every jade has its freckle, it seems more essential for us to explore a method to draw the strengths and offset the weakness of each side in order to offer each child a silver future, instead of criticizing who plays a cardinal role in children’s education.

Nowdays we are producing more and more rubbish.
Why do you think this is happening?
What can governments do to help reduce the amount of rubbish produced?

It is a fact that more rubbish has been produced from us in now social. In my opinion, it happened because the citizens lack the awareness and consciousness of environmental protection, but also government is lacking the EP facilities and measure.

First, the citizens’ awareness of sustainable development is still not very well. For example, nowdays people always use the plastic package to bring the goods from the market to home. But so much plastic package will be unrecycleable which is the waste of our life. Therefore, more rubbish has been produced. Excepting this, because noway to acquire these messege, few citizens know which is recyclable, which is other waste, and which is harmful waste.

On the other side, government is lacking both facilities and measure of environmental protection. In the supermarket or some other shop, always provide much free plastic package for the customs. Although it’s facility for the customs, it will reduce the citizens’ EP awareness.

Therefore, government should do something to help it. First, maybe not to provide the free plastic package for the customs, if they need they can buy it or bring it by themselves. Second, government can build more EP sorting facilities for citizens to put the all kind of waste, and should give publicity to citizens about the EP and strategy of sustainable development with media.

All in all, not only citizens but also government should reduce the stress for our earth which is the only life space for us, and try to make our homeland cleaner and more beautiful.

xiaoxin 我拿的conditional offer 就是要求写作7 真是麻烦帮我看看 我写的这个练习的文章 能达到吗?

Topic:Surveys show that more people get the news by TV than by reading the newspaper. Think about whether TV news shows are adequate as a person’s only source of news.

With the burgeoning of television programs, there props up a social ambivalence that whether television would be the only source of news, instead of newspaper, in people’s daily lives. For my part, although TV programs prevail dramatically, the significance of newspaper is still irreplaceable.

Apparently, the latest events, happening in almost every corner of the world, can be reported and disseminated by the cables and signals, thanks to the sophisticated TV networks. Comparing with the newspaper which needs to print and deliver thousands pieces of papers, TV shows can record and send the living pictures by billions bytes of digital signals immediately. Moreover, instead of rigid words, image-based TV news provides their audience news in attractive ways, even lying in all sorts of issues, such as current events and home improvements, in general. These vivid shows seem to have paled the newspapers’ verity into nothingness.

However, paying too much attention on the effects of the programs, not the affects, makes TV news still a Judas’ kiss, which can hardly be the only source. In fact, infotainment defined as a mixture of information and entertainment has been recognized as the main part of the TV shows. In another word, soft news, focusing more on sports matches, celebrities’ misadventures and movie release, stands to be given “pride of place”. Without enough coverage of social, economic trends and serious comments, news here is not complete and comprehensive. In addition, as the saying “news you can use” goes, heavier commercial influences have been imposed on TV shows. Accordingly, companies’ profits cloud the reasonableness of news value judgments, watering down some vital things to the bottom of the hour, while the same news may possess the front position of the newspaper principally.

Although the old fashioned newspaper has been less remarkable nowadays, the critical comments of verified events printed on the paper can not be forgotten or even abandoned. A variety of independent and unique viewpoints of social issues (environmental protection, unsettled political problems) can be easily found in the newspaper. By reading these comparatively meaningful articles, people would be edified and enlightened.

In a nutshell, different styles of news from TV and newspapers should compensate each other, because neither of them is perfect enough to make an exclusive “report” of people’s lives.

Two main modes of travel, car and taxi , rose comparatively dramatically, reaching a peak at 4806 and bottoming out at 42 in 2000.(28 words)
There’s a noticable decrease in public transportation locally where it dropped from 429 people in 1985 to 274 people in 2000. This is true of walking and bicycle. It reflected that english preferred long distance in travel to short distance.(40 words)
Contrasting statistics in 1985 and 2000, all modes rose considerably in the number of 1735, especially car which escalated 3199 to 4806 in five years. It took up a lion’s share.(31 words)
We can see clear that there’s a significant increase in the numbers of people . (14 words)

Some people think museums should be enjoyable places to attract and entertain young people. Others think the purpose of museums is to educate, not to entertain. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

When somebody said museums were just places for people to study, he or she was just partly right.

Tom went home exhaustedly from his boarding school after a 5-fullday study, but was compelled to be sent to the museum by his mother. Gripped a pencil in mouth, he was turning pages of the Jurassic Period with his dark eyes staring at three boys who were playing with the dinosaur models just bought from the museum.

There is no denying that museums are meant to encourage the active participation of the communities and serve as educator and cultural mediator to an increasing number of visitors belonging to all levels of the community, locality or social group. An abundance of documentations and various art crafts appeal to hundreds of researchers. However, this is too professional to attract those young children like Tom, the above example, to whom museums are indispensable.

As far as I am concerned, the more attractive museums are to different audiences, the larger the number of visitors they will be able to attract. The interaction between visitors and museums is a relationship that can affect the preservation of natural and cultural heritage including that of the collections and the values they transmit. As the consequence, museums cannot absorb more people’s attention unless it is a leisure place to entertain them.

I am not sure that there could be any conclusion that could satisfy everyone, but to stay true, museums should be more like an entertainment place from my perspective.

1)Parents should limit the hours their children spend on watching TV and playing computer games and insist using time for reading. Do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays, there is an obvious phenomenon that children prefer spending time on watching TV and playing computer games to spending time on reading. I think parents should play a vital role on tutoring their children in their unawareness and insisting their children using time for reading.
In the highly competitive society, only when obtaining various scientific knowledge do a child stand steadly in the competition. Books are great resources of various scientific knowledge, such as physics, mathematics, chemistry etc. from them. Without scientific knowledge, child cannot know how to use a wash machine. Without scientific knowledge, a child cannot live independently in the realistic society.
In addition, reading can help children to modify their wrong language habits. Owning a good language organization ability is important to everyone. From books, children can learn how to use language correctly and how to use least words to express your meanings clearly and how to use words in right occasion. In nowadays society, partnership is the main spring in daily work. Thus, a excellent communication skill is a prerequisite for work. Admittedly, mastering good communication skills are necessary for children.
Of course, TV and computer are both indispensable to our daily life. We can obtain the current information without getting out by them. But is, nonetheless, dangerous to children. Because of lacking self-control, children haven’t the capability of recognition. For them ,it is difficult to tell whether the information is benefit or harmful. Otherwise, after using TV and computer for a long period, children’s eyes will be harmed seriously.
Thus, I am for that it is indispensable for parents insisting their children using time for reading.

As is displayed in the two bar charts respectively, the percentage of the main reasons for study and the percentage of the amount of support they received fluctuated from under 26 years old to over 49 years old.

In terms of the first chart, the general trend of studying for career ebbs, bottoming out at approximately 18 percent when the age over 49. This is the opposite trend of studying for interest, the percentage of studying for interest surges, reaching peak at 70 percent at the age over 49. When the age is during 40 to 49, the percentage of the two reason becomes equilibrium.

Focusing on the second chart, the trend is fluctuated within a range of approximately 30 percent. The percentage of the amount of support reaches an apex at over 60 percent under 26 years old and hits a through at nearly 32 percent when the age is between 30 to 39.

What’s worth mentioning is that the employer is willing to support the young people whose age under 30.

Nowadays, the cultures of different countries are becoming so similar that there is no point for people to go traveling abroad, for they could have the same experience at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Great consensus has been reached that there is no need to have a journey in other countries. Yet there crop up fissures over the issue of whether going abroad is of vital importance or unnessary. Both assertions, in my viewpoints, can hold water and I would like to have a brief disscussion.

Those who hold that it is not necessary for us to go abroad may have reasons. In the first place, nowdays, Chinese culture and other faciliaties such as communicate system ,convenient transportation and sophisticated technology is similar with advanced countries. Futhermore, other exotic culture are pouring into our country at an extremely high speed, thus leading to the youngest getting harminous with different cultural characteristics already, rather than remaining in underpreviliged conditions.

However, we should not neglect the bright sides of feeling charm of other countries. To begin with, it will broaden your mind, enlarging your scope of knowledge and sirtual abundance and mental edifications. Secondly, only by being immersed in the atmosphere of other countries can you be acquainted with their diet habits and social culture in a deep impression ,which plays a significant role in your individual development.

As for myself, without nuture our horizens we may wonder in the world of knowledge and experience rather than have a clear and bright perspective, for , in the short term, travelling, especially going abroad , is the most effective and effiecient way to enrich our life experience, as prerequistites and necessities for survival in the competitive world.

In conclusin, although we have little gap with other countries at some aspects, travelling is ,to some extent ,still an advantage over staying at home, which should be encouraged by ourselves.

As is displayed in the bar chart and the table, the percentage of people involving in the major four types of industry, namely Agriculture,Computer Industry,Finance and Manual Labour in Britain and China, fluctuated from 1970 to 2000.

In Britain, Manual Labour was the largest industry drawing employees while in China, the percentage of people taking up Agriculture covered comparatively a majority, though surpassed by Computer Industry in 2000.Britain witnessed a vacillation in Manual Labour, reaching a pinnacle at 61 in 1970,and hitting a trough at 20 in 1990. This was the opposite with the trend of Computer Industry.Within a range of 10,Finance in Britain wavered, with that of 1970 and 1980 in equilibrium. In addition, Agriculture crept up in aspect of employment in Britain, averaging out at approximately 20.

Converse with Agriculture of Britain, its counterpart of China ebbed, ranging from 61 to 30. However, as an emerging industry, Computer Industry soared, with that of the year 2000 outnumbering its counterpart by 35 three decades ago. There was a fluctuation in Manual Labour of China, with nearly 30 on average, which was contrary to the trend of Finance.

What is worth mentioning is that the total percentage of people employed in certain industries amounted to more or less than 100 percent. This indicated that some people had their avocations while others were engaged in other industries unmentioned.

Among the three modes, Long distance bus ran 124 miles in 2000, which was almost 5 times longer than it did in 1985. Taxi and Bicycle raised slightly in the terms of mileage. On the contrary, the miles covered by Local bus and Walking had an opposite situation. Compared with Walking, the miles covered by Local bus halved in 2000.

To sum up, most of the transportations covered more distance in 2000 than in 1985 and the total miles traveled by the transportations were steadily increasing during the 15 years.

Shopping has become a favorite pastime for many young people today. What do you think of the reasons for its popularity? Do you encourage young people to do something useful in their free time?

It has been widely noted that shopping has become a favorite pastime for many young people. Despite the versatility of this phenomena. I would like to pose some striking ones and alternative afterwards.

After pondering this phenomena prudently, I think the reason why shopping has become a popular pastime for many young people today is hard to define. Because everyone has his or her own aim at shopping. Buying what they exactly want is the most common reason for ordinary people. Whereas, for most young person, shopping can update their sence of fashion. Through shopping, they can own up-to-date beautiful clothes with diverse style, which could be use to upgrade their beauty.

However, is it worthwhile spending all the time on shopping? The first and foremost point that all of the young person can’t neglect is that shopping isn’t the final destination for them in their whole life. Even though they are young so that they have plenty of time to do everything they want. Yet, shopping can be only regarded as an entertainment after exhausted work. Too much shopping let people hard to content and inhale their wallet as well.

In such a fierce competition society, else more meaningful things can be done. A solid scientific knowledge and practical experience are significant foundation for young people’ career development. Without a great cornerstone, young people can’t live dependently in the reality. If they couldn’t live dependently in the reality, they won’t afford any extra demand. Thus, continuous updating and upgrading knowledge can be put on the top of agenda.

In conclusion, nowadays is an intense competition social time. I am inclined to encourage that the priority of time should be still spent on the knowledge escalation rather than on shopping by young people.

cambridge5 TEST1 line chart
小新 我是Y140的 3.1要考了 帮忙评点下 我写这个3根LINE的 可以把2根合并再一起引用那个“第二段开头总结句”写么?
The line chart reveals the percentage of the population whose age is over 65 years old in different three countries-Japan, Sweden and USA from 1940 to 2040.

According to the graph, in terms of the figures of Japan, it crept down in the first 20 years, followed by stabilization until nearly 1985, when there showed a rally in the rest of the years. Furthermore, we can witness that it booms from 2005 to 2030, and then there will be a leap to 2035. In the end, it will reach a zenith at approximately 27% in 2040.

Contrary to Japan, the rest statistics about Sweden and USA can be categorized into 2 stages with predominance of the population of the elderly people. From 1940 to 1980, they all rose gradually and gently, followed by a creep-up until 1990. On the other hand, in the rest of the years, the curve of the population of Sweden rises and falls evenly, while USA will soar to reach a peak after it stays steady from 1990 to 2030. What is mentioning is that these two countries will reach a summit at 26% and 23% respectively in 2040.

下面是老师您贴子里的作文题目,关于The education in university,帮忙看看几分,批改一下......感激不尽!!

There is a dispute over what kind of education should the university provide foe the students. Some people think that the function of the university is to give access to knowledge for its own sake. But to be frank, I am not in favor of this opinion. In the following, I would like to present my point of view.

First of all, it has been widely noted that with the progression of globalization, finding an ideal job for the college students is becoming harder and harder. Thus, if you want to survive in this competing society, it is necessary for you to learn more academic knowledge and skills about your future career during studying in university. The more familiar with your major technology and theories, the more required you will be.

Moreover, it is natural that the company will have a period of time to inspect the new employees. It is an opportunity for everyone to express their own skills. For example, in a computer company, if you are good at computer operating and you know a lot about its theories, you will finish your work more efficient and effective. Maybe this action will decide whether you can be admired by the employer. All of them are decided by how much academic knowledge you have learnt when you are a college student.

All in all, admitting that it seems also important to some extent for university to give access to knowledge for its own sake, the feasibility of the opinion that universities should provide knowledge and skills related to future career outweigh that of it. If you can’t do the best in every area, try to do best in one area of your future career.

小新老师看过来啊 看过来

TOPIC:lSome people think schools should select pupils according to their academic ability, but others believe pupils with different abilities should be educated together. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Everything becomes competitive. Even the innocent pupils can’t escape from this crucial situation. For nowadays there reveals an argument: is it appropriate to consider the academic ability solely, or educate the pupils with different abilities together? In respect to the importance of education, the reasonableness and demerits of both opinions should be penetrated.

First of all, setting priority for academic ability is quite justifiable since the primary and fundamental aim for schools is learning. Thus teaching buildings, libraries, as well as teachers who went through a tough course to get certificates, all serve to facilitating academic atmosphere. However, pupils play the leading role. Without pupils owning certain academic ability, how can those wise ideas absorbed from teachers in the classrooms which later flash with new sparks in the library, finally become an innovation for the humankinds?

On the contrary, the later view has its comparative merits. Just to pore over the essence of education, it focuses on every aspect of a man rather than the academy only. For the development of an individual, he can’t not be deprive the freedom of choosing his own domain. Moreover, for the society, it needs people skilled in multifarious specialties. At last there is a tiny point which should not be neglected, that schools provide rather sound environment for pupils practicing their social skills as result of meeting and communicating different people.

Then schools face a difficult choice due to the potent reasons of both sides. But why not seek a compromising and moderate solution? Universities or colleagues adopt the former idea, whereas high schools and primary schools choose the later!

政府支持博物馆是否是浪费金钱
There is a dispute over if the money used for supporting the museum provided by governments is a waste of money or not . Some confident that this expenditure has its own meaningful reasons , whereas others argue the opposite . For my part , I share the former point of view, and I give three major reasons why this is so.

Firstly , museums can illuminate the culture , history and acts of world. Taking British Museum as an example , it provide visitors with all-round knowledge about the world culture and art . The collections in it trace the development of civilization throughout the history of mankind . So I suppose that the museums shoulder the responsibility to preserve and carry forward a country`s traditional culture .

Secondly , I think that the people who regard supporting the museums as a taste of money are shortsighted . Perhaps they only view this issue on behave of their own benefits . However , government should realize that the museums can not only promote the prosperity of economy but also improve the living standard for our people .

Moreover , the museums ought to be severed as a significant mean of adolescent education . It benefit both the present and the future generation .

All in all , in my point of view , as the museum plays a vital role , it is necessary for government to enrich the collection museums to cater for different taste or needs of different people . Varying from other industries , it is only the government `s support that make the museums benefical to us .

Some people think universities should provide knowledge and skills related to future career . Others think the true function of the university is to give access to knowledge for its own sake . What is your opinion ?

The progress of university is inevitable and irrefutable . What act as Pandora` box is whether the university should teach students only the knowledge textbook or some practical ones related to their future career . Both assertions , in my viewpoint ,can hold water and I would like to have a brief discussion on them .

To begin with , you have to lay a solid foundation of knowledge to keep up with the tide , without which you will be deprived of your core competency or specialities and you will feel disadvantageous among your peers , thus eliminated by society . It can not be denied that accumulation of knowledge and qualifications is conducive to your career development and path .

On the contrary , as the statistics indicated that the employment rate in 2007 is very low . In other words , a majority of undergraduate students could not find their jobs .Why ? Neither because their school knowledge was poor nor their low GPA marks . “It is their lacking of practical skills which attach great importance to their jobs that result in unemployment ”, said by a personnel manger . So imparting career-related skill is of significant value . Even someone advocated that we don`t need so many theorist but a number of skillful persons .

As for me , although the former viewpoint seems reasonable to some extent , the feasibility of the second one overweighs that of the former . Universities should provide skillful knowledge for us since they are prerequisites and necessities for survival in a competitive world .

Living in this breathtaking and updating world, we are, it seems, often fascinated by the globalization, which is now penetrating every corner of the society and finding its way deep into people’s heart. If asked whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, I would say “by all means”.

People who against globalization will argue that the lost of traditional culture and assimilation of different countries will lead to a worldwide cultural desert eventually. With the popularity of some predominant languages and culture, the minor ones will be watered down with the doom of dying out. Without diverse languages, arts and lifestyles, the colorful world will lose its shine, definitely harming whole human-beings.

However, no one can deny the fact that the globalization does bring a significant change to the world. First of all, communication between people form all over the world is not mission impossible any longer. There’re thousands of chances to appreciate all kinds of culture by means of traveling, international working opportunities or even marriage. Moreover, global economy benefits from the worldwide cooperation. Shanghai Pudong satellite town is a good case in point. Shanghai local government will absorb useful experience and knowledge from her sister city- London and develop a brand new economy center which will be one of the top modern economy centers in the world such as New York and Tokyo. Saving best for last, people all over the world can equally and conveniently enjoy the latest fascinating products at the same time. All kinds of merchandise can be purchased at the first time at home, for example, the most fashionable clothes, the new taste of Macdonald, the new version of MacBook and the Hollywood movies, etc.

Personally speaking, I trend to side with the view that the merits of globalization outweigh the demerits to general extent. (共300字)

As is displayed in the first diagram, the life cycle of the silkworm can be categorized into 4 main stages.First, the life of the silkworm starts from eggs propagated by the moth, and it takes 10 days for each egg becomes a silkworm larva that feeds on mulburry leaf.Slikworm larva contiunes to grow in 4 to 6 weeks, then wraps itself with silk threadto construct a cocoon in the next 3 to 8 weeks.A moth can be produced from the cocoon in 16 days, the life cycle begins again from then on.

Focusing on the second diagram,it illustrates the 5 main steps of the procedure of producing silk cloth.Well generated cocoons will be selected firstly. Before the silk thread can be unwinded, concoons have to be boiled in hot water. One cocoon can produce approximately 300 to 900 metres silk thread. The unwinded thread will be dyed afterwards to be weaved into silk cloth.

Overall, the two diagrams reveal the stage of producing cocoons in the life cycle of the silkworm can be used to make silk cloth through 5 simple steps.

Pie Chart
The pie charts display the percentage of the world population and cost on education in six different areas of the world.

East Asia and Industrial countries take up more than half of the world population, with 33% and 21% respectively. Besides, over a quarter of the world population is shared by Middle East, Africa and other countries, with 10%,14%and 18% respectively. The remaining 4 percentage is due to the Sahara areas.

On the other hand, the data from the pie chart of spending on education in different areas of the world reveals a totally different situation. Industrial counties counts for comparatively a minority of the world’s spending on education, with 84%.The remaining 16% is shared by Middle East (6%), East Asia (4%), Africa (3%), Sahara areas (1%) and other countries (2%).

From these two pie charts, we can see clearly that the Industrial countries is in charge of most world’s educational foundation but only producing one fifth of the world’s population.

Line chart

These two graphs show us a overview of the two side in the same thing, the growth of defense spending and its percent of GNP in USA between 1956 and 1975.

In the first graph, the trend soared from about $35 billion in 1956 to $85 billion in 1975.Durling this period, the spending on defense increased sharply from $45 billion in 1965 to $80 billion in 1970.

However, the second graph illustrates another side of the American defense spending, by telling us the data of its percent of GNP. It shows a considerable decreasing from 9.8% in 1965 to 6% in 1975. In spite of a rallying from 8% in 1964 to 9.2% in 1967, the percentage of defense spending kept dropping all along. It is opposite to the growing cost on American defense spending. It can mean some unmilitary affairs catches the government’s attention.

Q:When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It’s pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

A:Despite the progress of technology is irresistible and irrefutable, however, the traditional skills and ways of life should not be disappeared, and instead, human being should protect and reserve them by the virtue of the modern technology. In this essay, I am going to provide the co-existence of pros and cons of the technology, and the displaceable value of traditional skills.

On one hand, it's undeniable that the advancement of technology simplifies and conveniences our routine life, which entails updating and upgrading as fast as possible, however, it brings uniqueness and uniform for the world. While, the traditional skills and ways of life requires more labor and time-consuming but the nature of it plays an indispensable part of human's civilization and culture, which makes each nation enjoy their unique cultural identity and it has been handed down from generation to generation. On the other hand, technology methods tend to be a tentative and experimental way to deal things and they are totally produced by human brain, thus the adverse effects they would bring for human beings is devastating to some extents, while the traditional ways of handling things have respect for the power of nature, which turns out more endurable and reliable, case in the point is the agricultural methods, highly technology make it possible for farmers to clear the land in a mass scale for more intensive farming, granted, it results in a highly productivity, but the same time it accompanied with soil erosion and abandonment of traditional fallow periods, furthermore, with the introduction of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in last decades, the productivity of corps also have been increased, but the bugs and weeds have been becoming more and more resistant to them while there are ten of thousands of people suffered pesticide disease. Further, some disappeared old varieties of food plants proved as natural weapons against pests and diseases. Likewise, the email is quick and convenient, but the post letter contains more warmth and affection; so does the GPS navigation system , which is though highly-intellect, it's expensive and depends on electricity ,even contains some pollutant metals, while the traditional maps are handy and affordable, as well as environmentally-friendly.

So sum up, Modern technology and traditional cultural can actually go hand in hand, if people have the enlightments to confront the vested interest and temporarily convenience that they enjoy and indulge in , and evaluate the sustainable benefits for human beings in a long run, Thus, the value of the traditional skills and ways of life would have been greatly underestimated if you think it is pointless to keep them alive.

A glance of the first chart reflects the varied reasons why adults decide to study. Interests in subject and to gain qualifications are the main reasons which take up comparatively a majority of the total reasons with 40% and 38%. Helpful for current job and to improve the prospects of promotion and enjoy learning shared one out of five respectively. The rest 9% owes to the reason of meeting people. In general, the central reasons why adults decide to study can be roughly divided into two parts: service for the occupation and interest in learning.

According to the pie chart, it is clear that individual is the instrument of comparatively a majority of the costs of each course with 40%. A quarter of the total cost should be shared by the taxpayer. The remaining 35% is in the charge of employers.

The diagram illustrates how water is obtained outdoors.
As is showed in the picture, the first stage involves finding a hole with green plants around on the ground. You should put a container in the hole in order to collect water.Later,a plastic sheet is a must as to cover the hole with two stones at the both ends, fixing its position.A third stone is put in the middle of the sheet so as to form a pit, over the water container exactly.
As the sun rises, the light spreads on the plants, and they begin to evaporate vapour which rises to the sheet of plastic, accumulating in the hollow where is also the lowest part because of the stone in the middle. When the vapour is too heavy for the sheet to sustain,it drops down into the container, becoming water.
The steps above displays the method of obtaining water by natural ways.

Q: It is now very popular for high school or college students who have full-time courses to do some part-time jobs. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of working part-time.

Nowadays, a large portion of college students, even some high school students, are doing some part-time jobs after their full-time courses. It is becoming so popular that almost every student wants to have a try, no matter whether it is necessary or not.

It is generally acknowledged that doing part-time jobs does have many advantages for students. First of all, it can bring money. Only by working can students have regular incomes, which make them feel sort of proud and satisfied. Secondly, part-time jobs provide students with working experience. They can learn how to cope with critical problems, tough people and various situations that they will never encounter at school. This experience will benefit them a lot in their future career life.

Nevertheless, meanwhile, many opposite voices have arisen towards this matter. One point is that the most important thing for students is, and will always be study. But part-time jobs take up too much time of students that they could hardly focus on their courses. We have heard such an awful case that someone did pretty well in his job while failed to pass exams, which might preventing him from graduating from college. Another point in contrast to part-time jobs is there are many traps waiting for their quarries. Students are too simple to differentiate a good opportunity from a confidence trick. It will cause them losing time and money, and moreover, might endanger their safety.

To do or not to do, that is a problem. My opinion is that students should always put their study in the first place. If they still have enough energy, part-time jobs will be a good choice.

作文可以帮我改一下吗,7月底就要考了,最近强化每天一篇作文中
Topic: Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In the consumer-oriented society, advertisements are everywhere. When you turn on the TV, every a few minutes, the programs will be interrupted by advertisements, when you read a newspaper, apart of a page will be occupied by different kinds of advertisements. Though we may feel uncomfortable to this, unconsciously, we are influenced by the advertisement effect. In order to boost the sales of goods, the producers put in a great deal of money and even invite pop stars to propagate their goods. Take TV advertisement for example, within a period of only a few seconds, the advertiser will rack his brain to introduce all the merits of the product, plus the pop star effect, the product in the advertisement is appealing and seductive to the people in front of the TV screen, who may become potential consumers, especially those young people, who may have an impulse to buy the goods not because the really need them, but because they are keen to the pop stars. That’s why many people argue, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising.
In my opinion, the power of advertising is immense, but besides it, there are other factors that contribute to the high sales of popular goods.
Firstly, the product itself is of good quality, and its brad has built credibility among consumers who have formed a brand loyalty. When they need to purchase something, they will instinctively go for the product of their favorite brand. That is to say, the high sales of popular consumer goods do reflect the credibility of the products and the needs of the consumer.
Secondly, with the development of the society, people’s living standard is enhanced, they have much more income than ever before,, which become the source to dispose of on goods. Those goods which people needed but couldn’t afford gradually become affordable. Despite whether the product is expensive or cheap, as long as people need it, they can purchase without difficulties. So the higher living standard stimulates the high sales of goods.
Thirdly, there is a lure of the crowds, some people bought one product, then the it soon catches on and lead a wave of popularity. If one notices that people around buy the same product, how can he lag behind. It is this “people-to-people” effect which is like a contagion that contributes to the high sales of popular consumer goods.
In conclusion, although the power of advertising do contribute to the high sales of popular consumer good, other factors such as the credibility of the products, the higher living standard and a lure of the crowds also greatly influence the sales of goods. Furthermore, we cannot ignore the factor of the real needs of the society that stimulates the high sales of popular consumer goods.

小新老师,我写的是你预测球的第一题.本来想从把两方面好处都讲到,再说各有千秋,所以lectures必不可少.不过写的有些仓促,把lectures先写到前面了,不知道这样行不行呢?

TOPIC: Lectures were used in the past as an old way of teaching a larger number of students. As new technology is now availalble for education, some people suggest that there is no justification for lectures.

Digital technology has been increasing used in schools, universities ans academies throughout the world, people in favor of online learning and distance course argue that information technology has brought an innovation against traditional way of teaching and can even replace the role of lecturers and tutors.

Even so, in most regions of the world, vast amounts of educational funding for lecturers is being disbursed by local governing bodies and educational insititutes. We need to question why this is so, and of what benefit communities see teachers being. By way of forming my own opinion to the assigned statement. I will discuss the many virtues of conventional lectures for the continuation and development of teaching system as a whole.

It can be argued that lectures affect congnition and learning on several specific and important levels. First and foremost, lectures involve active interaction and communication between lecturers and students and thus stimulate their passion to study better, as the process of teaching intertwines with emotions that the lecturers can inspire students' imagination and creativity and build their confidence as well. Besides, lecturers can also serve to adjust the way of student's learning. A case in point is that lectures can understand and realise whether students understand the topic according to their body gestures and feedbacks, and make corresponding modifications to the lectures.

It is true that technology can assist students to learn factual knowledge, practice drills and exercise rote memerization. However, the computers can hardly identify whether students were happy with the way they teaching and to what extent did they grasp the knowledge.

As I mentioned earlier, the lectures can create a vibrant sector for the students while technology can provide students with concrete knowledge. Therefore, it can be suggested that instead of teaching students with repetitive knowledge and skills, lecturers can improving their methods by better inspire and interact with their students.

这是我今天上午刚写的一篇task 1,剑5 test 2 的。请麻烦您再改一下,谢谢了。希望您多提点批评

As is displayed in the two bar charts, the main reasons for students’ study and the amount of support they received from employers differ dramatically among various age groups.

What is obvious in the first chart is that, when students are under 26, the percentage of studying for career occupied a lion’s share of the reasons, with 80%, while as the time goes by, it subsides, bottoming out at less than one fifths when people are over 49 years old. In contrast, there is a trend of soaring for the purpose of interest, from 10% (under 26) sharply to 70% (over 49). Moreover, we can witness that when people are in their 4th decade of life, the percentage of the two reason people study for reach an equilibrium.

From the second chart, the amount of support vacillates within a range of 30%, reaching a summit at 60% when people are under 26, and hitting a trough at one third when people are in their thirties. However, afterwards, it creeps up as employees become older.

What’s worth mentioning is that since the overall percentage add up to below 100% in the first chart, it indicates the fact that some other reasons that people study for are not listed there.

题目:Some people think that governments should pay the course fee for those who want to go to the university. Do you agree or disagree?

Recently, there arises an interesting phenomenon in the field of education. On one hand, students in some developing counties have to pay much more money for going to the university; on the other hand, students in some developed countries could study in university for free because their government has paid for them. It leads to a controversy whether government should take charge with the cost. To be frank, I advocate that it is the government’s duty to do so.

Government paying for the fees, as one of the measures that enhance the investment in education, will stimulate the nation’s development. Every country has to build up the cornerstone of education to keep up with Joneses, without which its core competition, such as science and high-tech will be deteriorated, thus eliminated by the competitive world. Furthermore, comprehensive development is the key to sustainable development. In order to sustainable and enduring development, country needs adequate talents and elites, coming from various fields, to work together and promote the whole nation’s power. While most of these elites ever graduated from universities. That is to say, investing in higher education today means keeping the progress tomorrow.

Another positive aspect of government to do so is it can reduce the citizens’ economical pressure, also which is the demand for justice and efficiency. It can ensure that the opportunities of obtaining education equal to everyone, avoiding education turns into the privilege of wealthy people, because no one will be unable to enter the university as a result of poverty in this case. What is more, it will take the most suitable students, who are really hard-working and clever, to the university, which makes social education resources assigned fairly and efficiently. Essentially, giving more benefits to citizens, keeping society justly and efficiently are each government’s obligation.

To sum up, although the opposite opinion may be reasonable to some extent, in order to benefit more to the whole nation, government should pay the fees for the university students.

It is fair that sports professionals earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions? To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Professional athletes include baseball, football, and basketball players, tennis players and so on. There is much discussion nowadays as whether or not supreme sports professionals are supposed to gain a great deal of money. In the following, I advocate that the distinguished sports professionals should earn more other people.
In the first instance, very athletic people might want to consider getting a job as a "pro" athlete. But they should know that very few athletes ever make it that far. Because of this, it's a good idea to have another job in mind. In other words, anyone play a sport for money.
Secondly, Professional athletes play in front of an audience and get paid for it which make their work very demanding. This includes both physical and mental stress. Professional athletes must be in the best possible shape. Most modern athletes work out all year, both during the season and in the off-season. They must be able to perform their jobs at the highest level at all times. Professional athletes also face the constant threat of injuries that could end their careers. If they don't play well, they won't last long. This kind of job can be quite stressful, thus, it is reasonable for them to earn more money.
On the other hand, compared with the athletes, experts in other area tend to have a longer career which means if he doesn’t want, he can stay on his position until the retirement. Furthermore, most professionals need not to run the risk of being injured in their work when the sports profession doesn’t offer much job security; an athlete can lose his or her job because of an injury, or can be replaced by a “better” player at any time.
To sum up, high income is always related with high risk. I’ve simply pointed out some of the more obvious reasons. So, it is certain that sports professionals could earn more during their relative short career.

小新老师好,这是我就最近的8月21号的雅思题目写的一篇大作文,为了达到模拟练习的目的,我逼自己在40分钟内完成的,未经修改,望老师帮我打个分,麻烦了.International travel sometimes makes people more prejudiced rather than board-minded. Give out reasons why it cannot bring benefits to those visitors. Do you have ways to improve people's understanding of the countries they visit?

A much discussed issue these days is that international travel makes people more prejudiced rather than broad-minded. Several reasons may contribute to this phenomenon. But the question is how people can benefit from international travel better.

The first reason for the phenomenon mentioned above may be that some people are lack of the ability of aesthetic edification, that is to say, they can only find the flaws of the country they visit and ignore its beauty. Actually, every country or culture has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is the combination of the two sides that makes each one attractive and the whole world colorful.

Besides, another reason may be lack of communication between local people and foreign visitors. Different languages make it difficult for them to understand each other. But we can not blame the languages only; after all, we can use body languages or other methods of communication. Even if we know nothing about the local language, smiling can be much more helpful than you imagine.

To solve this problem, the first step may be that the visitors should get a brief understanding of the country they are going to visit by getting such information from travel agency or websites. Second, those visitors should learn some language of the country they will visit before traveling to that country. What I mean is not to master the language but learn to use some basic words and phrases. Better still, you should try to be friendly to the local people, which will definitely facilitate the communication and mutual understanding.

Nowadays, people all over the world share with the same films and TV programs. We are enjoying the colorful life which the cultural globalization brings. Nevertheless, at the same time, some people raise doubt that the disadvantages of cultural globalization's overweigh the advantages. As far as I am concerned, it brings much more advantages than disadvantages.

Although enjoying the uniform fashion and brands perhaps gives us the feeling that we can not be affected by the individual character of the countries, it brings us a good many positive influences. First of all, it can enhance the international communication between nations. As we all known, international communication is one of the most vital factors to maintain the relationship of the two countries. Then our economy will develop relative smoothly. In addition, it will give us mutual understanding and come true international economic integration more quickly.

Secondly, we can enjoy the cultural achievements by artists all over the world, such as films, TV programs and so on. Among these we can cheer many different kinds of styles.
Last but not least, globalization is an important process toward transferring knowledge and education throughout the world. To some extent, education is the key to the development of a nation. If one person has superior knowledge, I believe that he or she will contribute to a nation much more than an illiterate person.

Following all the reasons I have said, though nowadays the differences between countries are less evident, to some extent, I feel the advantages overweigh the disadvantages of this.

Food can be produced much more cheaply today because of improved fertilizers and better machinery or chemistry technology. However, some of the methods or chemistry ways may be dangerous to human health, and have negative effect on societies. To what degree do you agree or disagree?

With the advent of the modern technology and approach, the price of food has been increasingly declined. However, the quality of the food, accompanying with it, is suspected by the vast majority of people, which is threaten the health of humanity. To be frank, I am in the possibility that the situation has both merits and demerits.

In the past, numerous manpower must input to the farming during the progress of production, which increases the expenses of the farmer. Nowadays, because of the fertilizer and machinery, the farming becomes so efficient that the price of end-produce is cut down to some extent, which is beneficial for the consumers to lead a descent life. In particular, in the economically disadvantaged, their living standard cannot afford the consumption of the luxury, such as organic food. High amount of resident people are extremely poor and anything that can reduce the burden of their life is welcome.

While it is irrefutable that the current technology brings down the price of food, it inevitably exerts some intrinsic defects. It is universally acknowledged that food should be presented as naturally as possible. However, the improper technique and excessive chemistry might yield the adverse impact on the food production. Recent surveys indicate that more and more diseases, for instant, the liver and kidney problems have been linked directly to the intensive farming methods.

From what we have discussed above, It is important to remember that not only feeding people is essential but that the quality of the food has to been taken into consideration to ensure a healthy and happy life.

题目是young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies.A and D

It has been widely discussed that whether universities and colleges lead the education so broad and wide, that students acknowlegde too much theories but little experience. A proportion of young generation take a year off spending on working or travelling before university to raise more experience nowadays.

The fact has proved itself to be ture thoughout investigations that the group indeed get a large amount of experience which has a dramatic impact on their knowledge about themselves. Refering to what they have experienced,it is no longer be difficult to make a decision of their future study area and career. Additionally, experience gives a positive impact to the ability to comprehend the illusory theories for young ages. There is another advantage worthy of being mentioned, that as noticing the difficulties to survive in the society, they will think highly of their opportunity to study more than ever.

This is not to say that everyone is encouraged to try this one-year-working,for the reason that some youth have not been growing up as sensible as adults. Admittedly, there are various kinds of protential dangerous for youth who know little about the complexisity of the society and the aggressive nature of people. Not only can he be cheated, but it is possible for him to be used to commit a crime without awareness, especially the young girle.

To sum up,young people should think twice before making such a significant decision according to their own situation.

Nowadays, computer is used more and more in education. Do you think in which areas computer is more important and in which areas teachers are more important?

As we are rushed into the information era, some students might choose computer as their teacher instead of go to school. However, they are oversimplifying the situation. To be frank, I am in the high possibility of that both types of the education are indispensable to the society concerning the merits and demerits.
According to the statistics, the use of computer which brings us much more convenience in daily life has been dramatically increased in recent years. Compared to school education, children can study at home whenever they are willing and whatever they wanted to acquire. Particularly in extremely poor areas, where teachers and professionals are reluctant to live and work here and the education system is under standard, the computer could be excellent media to attend the lectures of the best teacher and acknowledge the outside world.
While it is undeniable that the internet might be conducive to the educating, it undoubtedly cannot be a substitution of the school education. As for children, they do not have the self-control, while the teacher plays an essential role. With interactivity and face-to-face communication, the information, which the teachers want to express, could be understood comprehensively. Conversely, teacher might know the defects of the progress of teaching through the feedback from students in order to amend on time.
From what has been discussed above, the role of teacher cannot be replaced of the internet. I advocate the co-existence of the computer and school education might be a proper approach to result in success.

剑5 test1
Despite the fact that this assertion expresses a primitive idea of fairness, I can’t agree with it anyway.
It is not the least practical for universities to accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. The following several reasons can be used to explain it.
Firstly, this assertion cruelly declares an immediate end to universities serving solely male or female students.
The second reason comes from male and female students themselves. It is common knowledge that generally male students do better in subject related to logic and natural science while female students remain their dominance in subjects like language and marketing. It sure is a good practice as for male nurses. But isn’t it too high a price to pay if he was born to have better potential and more interest in other domains, which holds a higher possibility according to statistics.
The third reason is determined by the human resource market. The mass hold a stereotype as this job is a men’s job and that one is a women’s. Regardless of the truthfulness of this stereotype, it is an unavoidable factor that a student should take into consideration in making the initial subject choice. This could well explain the situation that the female accounts for much less a percentage compared to the male in the doctor profession. Back to the issue of the truthfulness of this stereotype, we find the stereotype not that absurd. It can be partly explained by the second reason mentioned above. The fact that we seldom witness female construction workers is a good example—it’s not only because that we don’t expect the female to take that job, but also they just cannot meet the physical requirements.
To include the due respect to students’ own choices in the final conclusion, I would say that universities should offer equal opportunities for male and female students, rather than equal numbers to be accepted.

剑5 test2
Every high school graduate has the right to choose whether or not to work or travel for a year before starting university studies. He who can make the best out of choice holds a higher possibility of success.
A work experience is more than precious for a high school graduate who intends to enter universities afterwards. This experience can play a positive role in propelling the student to think about problems more realistically. With a clearer idea in mind as for what to pursue in the university, he is expected to have a brighter future. However, troubles may arise as a result of this work experience. This may sound contradictory, but when you have already set your feet in the field, especially when you are just lovin’ it, it’s a hard decision for you to make to end up your newly begun job and turn to the campus. It is really something that one should have second thoughts on before it its too late.
In contrast with work, travel is much more enjoyable. This choice can be explained as a relax after so many years’ hard working on the studies and also a good chance to get to really know the world maybe for the first time. This must be a pleasant experience. But I doubt whether one would make up his mind to get himself back in the classroom when he has just had such a great time.
The most common choice, still, may be to go to universities directly. It’s indisputable to make the education process a continual one. It’s a save of money compared to a travel and a save of time in comparison with a work experience. However, you may feel down when you are sitting in the classroom, being an audience of someone’s speech about his experience in the Orlando Disneyland, or her romantic come-across with her French boyfriend on the Eiffel Tower.
Anyway, you are earning something from your choice while losing something else. It’s always a brighter choice to make it self-oriented.

剑5 test3
Totally opposite viewpoints may arise upon the issue whether children should be guided with a sense of competition or co-operation. To pursue amore convincing answer, we need to take a close look at the two assertions.
A sense of competition can be a powerful propeller for children’s growth in many aspects. The mechanism works in the way that this sense keeps children in the fear of being beaten or left behind. For fear of that dishonour, children start to strengthen themselves both physically and mentally voluntarily. And this training is expected to get children well prepared for a society which is so competitive today that without enough professional competence, you’ll never turn somebody.
So why don’t we just vote for competition and leave co-operation away? It is not difficult to understand when you find, after a 15-year hell-like competitive training, you’re always behind others in this field or that. Take it easy, it’s not your fault. Human history hasn’t really witnessed an almightysaint so far. We have to admit that competition makes perfect, but only in a limited range of fields.
It is widely accepted that, to win a success, leading brains from various domains have to work together, or co-operate, in other words. Now we understand the other group’s assertion. With the guidance of a sense of co-operation, children are likely to grow up not necessarily that smart but co-operative enough to complete a job together better than a separate group of geniuses.
So we come to a conclusion that the competition approach focuses on individual development, while the co-operation approach highlights on the importance of teamwork. If only one choice is allowed, I would vote for the latter, for its wider applicability and a personal prejudice toward competition.

小新 帮忙看下 traffic congestion

The progression of traffic problem is inevitable and undeniable. Although diverse contributing factors can be identified, I would like to pore over some of the penetrating ones and specify some solutions in the following.
Nothing can obscure the fact that more and more cars are being put on the roads which directly cause some fatal problems such as noise pollutions, that is to say, people fail to find it easy to fall asleep if they live in the downtown area, not to mention those who reside beside highways. In addition, traffic congestion is another big issue, which means you have to spend unnecessary time in your cars thinking of a million other things that could have been doing instead. What is worth mentioning is that the growing rate traffic contributes to the high rates of traffic accidents which took thousands of innocent lives away.
The government should take the blame for it as they hesitate to invest money in infrastructure, for instance, widening the roads or to erecting overpass to relieve the traffic pressure. Their lacking of regulation which letting unregistered cars into the road play a havoc with the efficiency of traffic system. As people’s standard of living improved great during the past few decades, more and more families choose to buy cars, some even owns more than one car, which plays an indispensable role in deteriorating the traffic systems.
While it never to late to do something to alleviate the problems. First of all the government should pay more attention to the construction of traffic facilities. More traffic police should be avaible to assure the efficiency of the traffic system. Most inportantly, individuals could choose an alternative like commuting by bus or subway insteading of using private cars. Carpooling may be a wise option. Futermore ,they could use a bike for not only it is environmental and economical, but wholesome to their health as well. The whole socitey could propagand, for example, NO CARS’ Day to raise public awareness. If none of this could not be done, every coming morning announces the advent of the approaching destruction.

As is displayed in the table, the figures of the income statement of ABC company differed from 1996 to 2000.
大白的75页
As is displayed in the table, the figures of length of stay ,spend of every visit and amount of money the visits spent a day differed from 1994 to 1996.
大白89页
As is displayed in the charts respectively, the figures of Death from Flu ,the percentages of Female recipients of new vaccine groups, the numbers of cases of flu including males and females differed in 1996.(尤其这个,我觉得我写的很烂,麻烦小新写个漂亮的开头让我学习,谢谢!)

老师,这是模考大作文,麻烦你点评下,我11.29考哦!
非常感谢老师!!

The progression of globalization is inevitable and undeniable, what is under controversy is whether the government should subsidize musicians, actors, artists and drama companies. To my part,I highlight the hot potato that strong tradition can civilize a country for the reasons as below:(1.这段逻辑有问题吗?2.另外PRR开头段不说自己会在后面给出建议好不好呢?还是开始就说自己会R+R?)
To put it at my toppriority, tradition is the essential experience of a country。With such experience acquired from ancient time till now, we can know what our country is in urgent need of,instead of wandering in the tide of globalization without knowing where's the specific entrance for us。 With the government's subsidy, such artists can create the unique culture for the people, which provides the nutrition and guidance like the Polaris for the nation。
What is easily neglected but worthmentioning is that a country without the exceptional tradition culture, is no her own personality。Only that she owns her family's traditional character, can she affect her offsprings by sense of belonging。Fortunately, our government makes great progress to support the traditional cutural industry and those artists。Thus every time they hold performance and exhibitions overseas, the Chinese there are appealed to, which aroused tremendous proud of the spiritual wealth of our civilization。(3.这句语法有问题吗?which是前面状从的定从,中间隔了主句,好远啊……有没有一眼看上去条理不清的感觉?自己难评价的。。。)
All in all, to improve citizen's cultural living, our government still has a long way to go。What can be considered is setting up the Community Culture Anniversary, which will nourish a sound traditional art atmosphere。
Theresa might be a concave-and-convex-sided nutshell that the authorities give a full play to the tradition,as well as those artists and agents related。I'm in high favour of their supports.(4.

As is revealed in the bar graph, the average age at first marriage of both men and women in the US fluctuated from 1900 to 1987.
What is apparent is that the average age at first marriage of women is younger than that of men during the 87 years. In 1900, the average age of men was 26, with ebbing to a trough at approximately 24.5 in 1930 until creeping up to a zenith of 24.7 in the next decade. While the 1940s witnessed a retrieving, which botomming out eventually at 23.5 in 1950 and remained stable in the following 10 years. We can witness a sound(可以用sound吗?) surging to a nadir of 26 in the 1987.
As to the average age at first marriage of women, it stared(可以用start吗?) at 22 in the year of 1900, and fell and rose gently and evenly in the first 2 decades of the 19th century, followed by a slumping during 1940s to the bottom of 20.5, which is similar with the case of men. From 1950 to 1987, it surged steadily till the peak of 24.1 ar the end.
What is worth mentioning is that, the gap reached its maximun at the beginning and ended in a minimun extent, while both trend went to its lowest level in 1950.

小新老师~这是上次模考关于个人身体健康对社会是否有影响的文章。麻烦老师点评一下 并打个分数 ~~谢谢~~~~

Whatever your notion of what constitutes a well-balanced life, physical health is indispensable. But whether it is of use for our social is a matter of debate. To be frank, I consider it as a benifit which is secretly hidden.

Caring about health is an attitude towards life, which is vital to a variety of industries--not least finance. Employee can hardly be capable of working effeciently and effectively without a healthy body. A robust waiter is sure to have more patience and energy, which can attain more customer satisfaction. Superficially, it seems a tiny help just for the waiter, but it does push back the frontier of our economy as long as everyone is like him.

A strong person in a country makes a country stronger. A nation's character is reflected by the people live there, which is commonly called culture. If a citizen has a positive spirit every time, it is undoutful that we can rely on him--having sense of responsibility, never being late, loving and caring about other people. An unique and graceful culture is made of this kind of person.

Potential is power and healthy body pulls the switch. The power polishes our society with all kinds of methods--economy, culture, etc. If we ignore it, we will suffer most. If we pay more attention to it, we will achieve a lot.

请问小新老师,我有没有偏题啊。我总觉得我的思路和你上课讲的有点距离 555。

麻烦小新了,我12.13考,麻烦你帮我改一下这篇文章哈,不胜感激!
2) An increasing number of people choose to live in big cities. What problems will this bring about? Should the government encourage people to live in small towns?
Along with the development of society, an increasing number of problems are brought to our attention, one of which is that there are more and more people choose to live in big cities. It becomes so widespread that people cannot help asking: what influences will this bring about? As I know, the influences are negative.

In the first place, it gives rise to many troubles to those big cities. On the one hand, too many people will lead to a lot of matters which are about substance shortage, such as traffic jam, housing problem, water shortage and so on. On the other hand, if a city has a big population, the city must be full of fierce competition, resulting in that people live there always suffer from high pressure, making people feel unhappy. What is more, a large number of people in a city will contribute to environmental problems. As we all know, the more people the more consumption, then the more rubbish is produced.

In the second place, it is bad for small town’s improvement. For one thing, as more and more people move to big cities, small towns will lack of labor force to develop their agriculture and industry. For another, if most people of small towns move out, the remaining people will lose their motivation to improve their towns, because they don’t have to.

From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that the phenomenon of an increasing number of people choose to live in big cities is adverse. Considering the seriousness of this problem, government must do something to encourage people to live in small towns, so as to decrease the pressure of big cities and help small towns develop their economy.

小新~~我报的12月20号的考试~~
刚写了篇大作文练习了一下~麻烦你给评价一下顺便给个分吧~
拜托了~~我是今年最后一场有什么建议么?
It’s been widely known that with the dramatic improvement of technology, more and more products of hi-tech are exposed to people’s normal life, as well as the children of every family. Here comes a much discussion whether children’s spending time on TV, video and games is good. In my personal opinion, appropriate access to these equipments is not a bad thing.
It is an inevitable thing that while children spending their leisure time in computer games, or internet surfing, they must pay little attention to their study. Moreover, children do not have enough ability to control themselves to keep away from the information which has no benefit. Last but not least, there is no good for their eyesight while being exposed to the television or computer for a long time. Thus, some people hold the nation that it is bad for children to spend time on TV, video and games.
In contrast, others claim that this is good for children. For one reason, children, in their age of learning, should get much more information other than the knowledge of academic subjects. The news reported on TV and different culture shown in the video help children to have a good command of various kinds of knowledge. Furthermore, parents, who use the computer frequently for work or relax, will have no persuasion when they abandon their children to play it. And this vicious cycle will lead to bad relationship between family members in the end. Besides, from the TV, video and internet, they can keep their eyes on what happen in the outside world and fulfill their mind with the modern theory, latest issues and charming stars with unique character. This series of factors will eventually benefit kids for forming their own personality as time passes.
All in all, every coin has two sides. I have simply analyzed both views. Yet, in my opinion, considering the disability to control themselves, to maximum the advantages, hi-tech equipments such as television can be accessible to children in a proper way, that does not mean the appropriate time spending but also point the healthy information.

memorization by frequent repetition plays a role in most education system.
Does its usefulness outweight its limitation?

As we all know, never is the topic concerning rote learning failing to attract us to discuss in the up-dating society. Some people are welcome it because it can bring about many benefits. However, other people who object it claim that it cannot be justified. As I can find out, both views are acceptable and reasonable.

There are some people who are favor of it believe that it has many advantages. At the beginning, rote learning means make it very convenient for people, thus saving a lot of time. By rote learning, people can receive information by only few seconds. It can make study more affectivity. In addition, memorization by frequent repetition can receive the last information in time wherever you are, which can give you much more benefits for you study and it is good for you further development.

On the other head, some people claim it bring many limits. Firstly, there are certain knowledge in school education where rote learning cannot be employed as a learning tool. Students cannot achieve guide, such as math, by using rote learning. Secondly, rote learning may exit some misunderstanding information for you study by using rote learning, which is harmful to you study.

Simply put, people can rarely reach an absolute consuse on such a controversial issue. The question is whether we can find the balance between them. As for me, it is my firmly hold that both views are cros and pros and we cannot justify by one side.

老师,这是我写的一篇作文,您能帮我评个分数么,我1月10号就考了,现在对写作真的很没底啊。

题目是:The older generations have very ideas about the correct way of life, think and behavior. However, some people think, nowadays, the older ideas that not helpful for young people for modern life. To what extent do you agree of disagree.Give reason for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

我写的是:
As the result of drastic social transition, the generation gap has become a serious problem. That is to say, the aged and youth have significant differences in their lifestyles, values, and behavior.

Those who think old ideas are useless might argue that most of the elderly don't keep pace with times, so their outdated advices maybe unsuited to today's young generation. However, ideas should be judged on their own merit and not its age. In other words, the most modern view doesn't mean the best one.

In addition, others believe that the older lifestyles and values cannot be denied. As everything has a good side, old ideas and views are abstracted from many life lessons, especially if one considers age to be proportional to the essence of life. Furthermore, the knowledge and skills, created by old generation many years ago, also are the guideline for today's daily work even academic research. For example, we still use Newton's Law which was discovered more than 200 years ago to solve modern engineering problems. Moreover, when we face new and unknown problems, we still have to learn fundamental knowledge and previous works done by the older generation first.

From above discussion, I would say that older idea have paved the way for development of technology and society throughout history. As Durkeim once said, “conventional experiments’ crucial function is warning so people would not fall into the same pitfall again. “we need wisdom of older generation; we also look for the courage of younger generation to innovate. All progress is based on our history. We must combine traditional ideas and modern methods to truly progress socially, culturally, and technologically.

老师,以下是我12月13号考的大作文,凭记忆大概写出来的,总分只有五分,不知问题出在哪里,我觉得可能是离题了,之前也给您留过言了,希望您能给点意见,如果您觉得还行我就去复议了。题目是Some people believe that the society can benefit greatly from people who receive university education; others, however, think sending a large number of young people to university leads to the high rate of unemployment. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion?

下面是文章:
As the shock of financial crisis, we meet a lot of problems about business, and we discuss much on making benefits. Thus, there crops a dilemma of whether universities should accept more students. This argument is inevitable and undeniable, even the versatility and complexity of this question, I still highlight that both side gets the merits.

First of the priority list, the basis of this kind of argument is the requirement of knowledge. For nowadays people value the power of a country by its economy and residents’ quality which depend a lot on knowledge they obtained. Therefore, knowledge seems significant, for without which you will be deprived of your core competence and you will feel disadvantageous among your peers, thus eliminated by the society. Moreover knowledge also needs updating, if you are satisfied with your current achievement, your goldmine will be moved easily. And university is a place where you can achieve the latest knowledge and information. While on the other hand, accepting more students provide more opportunities for studying, hence universities could create more elites which definitely make the whole society benefit and the country competitive as well.

Curtin screens sunlight just like sometimes the pros will hide the cons, but if we look into depth, we will excavate the drawbacks of this problem. First of all, accepting more students causes an phenomena of talent redundancy, people who graduate from universities will be difficult to locate themselves in the society, moreover, they can’t get suitable position as well. In addition, the unemployment rate increase dramatically when there are so many graduates from universities. Under this pressure, the progress of the society won’t keep forward, however, backward.

As I mentioned in the beginning, this trap of students accepting is a microcosm of financial problem. To solve this kind of issue calls for various methods. Thus, I advocate that we should admit both side get advantages.

There are times when the society calls out for talents, a variety of masterminds. Youngsters are leaving school, finishing their studies, nevertheless, the way to career success is really hard to go through, and the number of unemployed after graduation is becoming increasingly large. Now I will give my view on how this phenomenon affects our society and the youth themselves and then propose some reasons and solutions.

It is universally acknowledged that youth unemployment causes diverse side effects on the young people. First, without a job, one cannot afford his or her life in the contemporary world. And as a consequence, the unemployed is determined to be impoverished unless he turns to the old parents. Besides, life must be full of confidence. In other words, at the beginning of real life, this is a real disaster which colors the clear sky grey and steals hopeful dreams. More importantly, a person who is out of work for a long time may easily suffer from psychological problems. As a matter of fact, the depression among youngsters is really common.

In terms of the effects on the society, several perspectives should be taken into consideration. For one thing, more people who do not have jobs may suffer from poverty and therefore the government will take a heavier burden. For another, the unemployed youth are more likely to commit crimes. It is manifest that public order would be disrupted and we would lose national stability.

Accordingly, the solutions to this issue are demanded urgently. First, the government should provide enough job positions for the young. This is a long term work and the society is always make efforts to meet the demand. Then, individuals should also take actions to make themselves available for their ideal jobs.

To conclude, youth unemployment brings many drawbacks to both the society and the unemployed people. All of us should take measures to solve this disturbing problem.

topic: some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same things and avoiding change. others, however ,think that change is always a good thing.
discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In today’s world, along with the development of technology and society ,the peace of changing of our living life tend to growing in a faster and faster speed. Some people hold a pleasant attitude to this phenomenon , however, there are also someone prefer to live a life without changes. Actually ,the changing life is just a Pandora’s box which has both pro and con sides.

In the first place, it is the changing world makes a man make his progress. In this changing world ,a man have to learn things he didn’t know before to make himself keep up with the tide that he won’t be weeded out by his competitors .from this point, he would get a lot of knowledge that he would never get if he stay in an unchanged world. In addition, the changing world also bring us new products which make our life more convenience and widen our spectrum.

In the fate that the changing life has it’s advantages while it also has it’s drawbacks. Because of that it changes so fast and people have to change themselves to adapt to makes the people have a felling of tired and the stress is to heavy to bear. It is the felling that directly contribute to the killing of themselves.

As for me , I hold the opinion that changing life has it’s advantages much more outweight it’s disadvantages. If a society always stay in the same stage with no progress, the society will be devoured by the better advanced society. Though, there are more stress accompanied with the changing life , I believe that we can come up ways to overcome it. When you do your best to adapt to the fast changing world ,you will find that you did make a progress in your everyday life as well as the hole society.

The two charts are about the Japanese traveling abroad, one is about the trend of total number and the other is more specifically about the trend of Japanese that went to Australia during the same period of time.

From the first chart about the total number we can witness a steady growth. The total number of the Japanese traveling abroad in 1985 was around 5 million. And after years of growth it doubled in 1990 during which it reached a total number of around 11 million. In 1991 it met a small retrieve and in the following two years, the growth kept comparatively slow. However from 1994 the market got warm again and the total number reached over 15 million in 1995.

The trend of Australia’s share of Japan’s tourist market was parallel to the chart of total number that mentioned above. It soared in the year 1985 and then kept increase till 1988 when it reached around 4.8% which was almost three times than that in 1985. It dropped clearly in 1989 but then it boomed again till 1993 where it reached its peak at over 6%. In 1994 it crept down a bit however still stayed at 6%.

小新老师好,
6月27日考的,结果是5.5分,7月23日又要考雅思,对作文仍然没把握,您能不能点评一下我的文章。我感觉自己对文章思路的把握不是很清晰。

题目:Schools offer a wide range of courses such as physical education, music, economics. Among these subjects, do you think which one is the most important subject and which one is the least important subject?

Schools are based on the belief that students are taught to acquire a mixed variety of knowledge. In modern society, a wide range of courses such as physical education and music are offered to students, which is conductive to enlarge the scope of knowledge. It is difficult for me to decide which one is the most important or which one is the least important. I would prefer to utilise “relatively important” or “less important” for the subjects.

Physical education is relatively important subject, since it plays a pivotal role in the health of students, constituting the foundation of the successful life. If there were not any physical activities, the students’ level would plummet to a low level and be vulnerable to the diseases. A research conducted by Chinese Health Center revealed that students who always participate in physical activities are more vigorous than students who often stay in the classroom, reading and doing schoolwork. Obviously, physical activities enhance students’ health and make them robust. It is imperative that students be arranged to have some physical education.

Unlike physical eduction, music is less important among the subjects, for it provides pleasure and enjoyment that is not necessary to a student’s education. Admittedly, music is beneficial to promote students’ emtional development and provides recreation that makes student relaxed. However, teenagers who have less self-control, are likely to get addicted to the music, giving up routine study. This point can be best illustrated by the case of chinese urban secondary school that eliminate music subjects to cultivate the sense of concentration on study. And these schools always boast a high pass rate of entrance exam for tertiary schooling.

In conclusion, it is wholesome for students to study all the subjects although the subjects are not equally important. I believe that comprehensive development is the key to have a healthy and happy life.

Task 1
As is shown in the pie charts , the units of electricity production by fuel source in Australia and France differed in 1980 and 2000.

In terms of the Australia’s figure , coal occupied half of the electricity production in 1980 . Hydro power and Natural Gas took up a same margin, 20% . respectively. The remnant was due to oil However in 2000 , coal soared to 130 units , There was also a surge of 16 units in Hydro Power. Oil and Natural Gas plummeted to an unnoticed portion. Focusing on France, In 1980, Oil Natural Gas and Coal made a similar contribution to electricity production , that was around 20 units . Hydro and Nuclear Power all together accounted for one sixth However , we can witness a rocket in the Nuclear Power from 15 units to 126 unites in 2000 . Other fuel source had plain performances in the 20-year period with stabilization in coal , leap in oil and dip in Natural Gas and Hydro power

What is worth mentioning is that Nuclear Power hadn’t made its debut in Australia until 2000while France relied on it for electricity , it indicated that even though the electricity production improved in both country , they definitely moved toward different direction
Task 2
The progress of social development is irresistible and irrefutable , which makes work a ingredient of people’s daily life . It’s only natural for people to seek job satisfaction which , in my opinion , comes from two resources-----physical and mental.

Money , as a physical factor , contributed to job satisfaction . It’s indisputable that money is a passport to the make-believe society. . In fact , wealth is the necessities and prerequisites for a man’s well-being , for without which , you will definitely live under the mercy of those who have , no less talking about pursuing happiness and contentment . So essential as money is , we cannot find a better way to make a employee satisfied than offer him or her enough money .

What’s more important is , which acts as a mental factor , a bright future . Indeed , fulfillment brought by wealth is not stable , only the promising prospect of job works as a permanent catalyst , offering long-last satisfaction to people. People are reluctant to work where there is little or no potential to get promoted or further their study, since such situation leads them feeling imprisoned under the pyramid of stagnancy, which hinders them keeping up with Joneses. While a bright job future can always motivate people to stay abreast with time , thus meet their mental need .

Happy job is all like , unhappy job is unhappy in is own way. Whilst lack of money and bright future , the two main factors leading to job satisfaction , is absolutely the biggest reason contributes to a job’s unsatisfaction .

拜托小新百忙中抽空帮我看一下 这作文大概多少分 主题是关于老龄化的 灰常感谢
Many countries are stepping into the aging society. Consequently, there arise a social dilemma that what factors cause the phenomenon and how about the potential effect. Despite the multifariousness and complex of the reasons and influences, in this easy, I would analyse some of the striking ones and offer the alternative.

When it comes to the causes of the increasing number of elderly people in the contemporary society, what on the top of priority is the booming of economy of the whole society. For the sake of living standard, the government invests more money in terms of medical treatment and infrastructure area, which is in the best interests of the senior citizens. Besides, the development of education level is an inherent advantage of longer lifespan. The educated old generation pay more attention to the health and raise their awareness of keep-fit.the persist on a balance diet and live an abstinence and optimistic lifestyle. The elements contribute to the long span and sharpen the extent of aging issue.

Incontrovertibly, old-age phenomenon has a great deal of potential side effect. The most significant one is the younger generation. On one hand, the government has the responsibility to allocate certain fundition to support the future development since the total capital is not infinite. On the other hand the point could illustrated by the example of Chinese society. Due to the One Child Policy and Chinese traditional family value, the present-day young couples have four elders to provide for in every family. Consequently, they are tired down by the heavy economic load except the stress of work and offspring raising. However, the positive aspect cannot be ignored. The retired people play a pivotal role in baby care and domestic chore, which is share the burden of working people to some extent.

In conclusion, the aging problem is an irresistible tandancy of social development and creates some conflicts to social advance. However, we should give it an impartial attitude to and establish proper policy to approach an optimization method to balance the profit. After all, the senior citizen had devoted to society.

As is shown in the charts, the number of visitors to and from the Uk and UK residents who travelled to the most popular countries differed.

The number of UK residents travelled abroad stood at around 12 millions in 1979, followed by booming to 20 millions in 1985. We can witness a clear surging to approximately 30 millions in 1988. The next eleven years reflected a gradual increase, reaching a peak at nearly 53 millions in 1999. Contrary to its counterpart, foreign visitors to UK crept up from 10 millions in 1979 to about 12 millions in 1986. However, it leapt to nearly 21 millions in 1990, followed by a slight increse till 1994. Finally, it accrued to about 28 millions in 1999. What is worth mentioning is that there were more UK residents travelled abroad than foreign visitors who travelled to UK during 1979 and 1999.

In terms of the most popular countries visited by UK residents in 1999, France and Spain were the top two coutries which attracked UK residents, with 11 and 9 millions respectively. USA ranked the third, with 4 millions. Turkey and Greece had a comparatively weaker play, with less than 4 millions. What is obvious is that UK residents were more favour of travelling to nearby countries.

The two pie charts display a major source of energy in the United States, which are Hydro, Natural Gas, Coal, Oil and Nuclear. They also show the changes of occupation in 1970 and 1980. Some increased whereas others decreased.

In 1970, Coal accounted for a comparatively a majority of the source of energy in the US, with 47%, while Nuclear only took up 1%. Oil and Hydro shared 12% and 16% respectively. The remaining 24% was due to Natural Gas.

On the other hand, Nuclear rocked by 10 times in 1980. There is a slightly boom in the percentage of 3% for Coal. Oil and Hydro almost stayed gloomy. However, we could witness a moderately decrease in Natural Gas, from 24% in 1970 to 15% in 1980.

In contemporary society,a vast number of colleges enroll unequal numbers of men and women students in all subjects. It is an arguable ploblem that universities should admit the same amount of men and women students or not.I disagree that all the colleges accept equivalent numbers of male and female students in all subjects.

On the one hand, universities can admit male and female students in the same proportion in some public subjects, such as Business, Law, Politics and so on. In contrast, it is reasonable that unequal numbers in some aspects, for instance some logical subjects. Most female students find that it is very tough to be proficient in logical mind. We can not constrain women delicate themselves in the natural sciences. Moreover, with researching some subjects such as languages, laws, female students can grasp that subjects easier than male students in average. If colleges enrolled unequal amount, many female studnets would suspend from schools.

On the other hand, the unequal numbers of male and female students mean women discrimination. In this day and age, many countries are mostly democratic now, women have the equivalent obligation in the world.Gender equality should be in every aspects.therefore, female students should share the same proportion of studying in evry subject.

Overall,it seems that the equal amount of male and female students shows gender equality,we can not have the views of women discrimination. In conclusion, hardly do universities conduct a rule of sharing the same proportion between male and female students. What sounds an utopia, that universities admit the same numbers of male and female students in every subject.

1) The world of work is changing rapidly, so people cannot always depend on their jobs. What are the reasons of such phenomenon and offer some measures to solve it.

The issue of people cannot depend on their jobs, which is changing job rapidly in the world.it is irresistible and irrefutable.Despite the versatility and complexity of the reasons.I would pore over the most significant one and offer the alternatives in the following.

To begin with “surpass the master is better than blue,”more and more have emerged in the competitive world. Community the competition is more and more intensive. You have to enhance the cornerstone of knowledge to keep up with the Joneses, without which you will be deprived of your core competence or specialties and you will feel disadvantageous among your peers, thus eliminated by the society. It cannot be denied that accumulation of knowledge or qualifications, as prerequisites and necessities for survival in the competitive world, is wholesome to your career development and path. If you sit on the goldmine, you will lose your “chesse”.The aim is:”comprehensive development is the key to sustainable development.

Human beings have to fit in with the community, society of development is too fast ,so does information updation, you need a circle which you prafer to.the circle can help you for your job development. So enlarge and enhance your personal network by socializing with peer.

Contrastly, company should offer some measures to solve phenomenon.Such as build up more relevant infra by increasing investment, which lay a solid foundation of knowledge to keep up with Joneses and privade places to train staff.

2) The main purpose of libraries is to provide books, therefore they should not use limited resources and space and should be replaced by computer software, DVDs etc. Do you agree or disagree?

The progress of providing computer software DVDs etc in libraries is irresistible and irrefutable. What acts as the Pondora’s box is weather limited resources and space such as books should be replaced by advanced equipment. To be frank,I’m in high favour of the possibility of advanced equipment can hold water in future.

To begin with time-saving. for the dangerous and repetitive work, which is monotonous and tedious. Since advanced equipment, like computer software,DVDs and so on, which can keep working or running for a consecutive long time, is emotionless and immune to tiredness, it will enhance the efficiency and productivity of work. The time saved can be utilized for other purposes. Compared with their machine counterpart, people are liable to make mistakes, more vulnerable to stress and physical condition.

As to push back the frontier of library industy, which is advanced equipment of science and technology through innovation and ingenuity as an avant-garde. Each generation of product acts as the stereotype for their later innovations-- descendents. In the future, computerized libraty will emerge, wide range of resources and materials on the web, easily accessible with multiplied way of reading and instant updating and upgrading.

And advanced equipment stimulate the appetite of readers for reading, thus enhancing the utility of libraries. For example, more and more people have limited time for reading,so they ues electrical equipment to get information.it is colorful and dismensional. Many people like catoon, for it derease stress and pressure of job.

It is inevitable that advanced equipment will replaced traditional equipment. We should, however, adhere to one slang,”advanced is the master key that opens the gates of relaxing.”I believe that it is very important to be suspicious of the benefits in future.

题目1.traffic and housing problems in major cities could be solved by moving large companies and factories with their employees to the countryside. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

As a result of traffic and housing problems in major cities are becoming increasingly difficult, some people argued that large companies and factories should be moved to the countryside with their employees.

Admitely, moving them to countryside is a efficient way to enlarge the space in downtown as by doing so , we can earn more room in many aspects, for instance,to build more houses and offer more accomodations for those people who have nowhere to go but find some terrible shelters. Also there will be fewer cars and individuals in the urban area, thus, the traffic will be under less pressure. On the one hand,we benefit a lot from doing so,on the other hand, those employees who move to countryside will no longer suffer from overcrowed city center, even companies and factories will enjoy larger development space and more opportunities.

Although these solutions sounds make sense, I still worry about the future. What we do is actually covering the problem temporily instead of facing and solving it. The city is growing, the population, the needs for housing and transport is ever keep increasing, everything is booming. We cannot solving the housing and traffic problem through transfering the factories and companies to the countryside. Indeed ,we should use our limited space and resources in the most efficient ways. An example that best illustrates this point would be the constrction of harmony society, which relates all sorts of stuff and develop together with each other. Therefore, the aim , to make the city develop as a both social-friendly and environment-friendly happy land, will come true. As the housing and traffic problems, they will be solved by techology and our intelligence step by step during this harmony process.

Finally, in my conclusion, moving factories and companies is obviously not the best way. Instead ,we (e.g.government,social organizaitons, every citizen)should team up,and work closely to one another , aiming at creating a harmony society.

小新老师好~我是3月20日的考生~因为看了你说要注意一号球和五号球~所以我写了篇题目是when a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive.写完看了例文,发现我和他说的完全是两码事。。请老师看下吧

In the years since development of technology and the traditional skills gradually disappearing, keeping them alive or not has been arguably one of the biggest social discussion. More and more people have widespread belief that it's pointless to try and keep them alive. But some people have been paying a hurtful price for lack of traditional ways of life. As far as I am concerned, protecting traditional skills is crucial to people in modern society.

People who support the technology instead of traditional skills may think that the modern method will enhance the efficiency and productivity of life, thus sill save human labor.

But in my opinion, fears and concerns about technology has been raised too. Over-dependence on it will deteriorate the creativity, cleverness, flexibility of humans. Moreover, there are three main reasons of protecting traditional skills and life styles. To begin with, tradition is the fundamental of society development. In order to make sustainable and enduring development, we should concern about our traditional skills, which are the basis of technology. What's more, traditional life styles are benefit our health and environment. Technology development lead to more competitive world, thus cause unhealthy life styles and environmental problems. But if we live in a traditional way, we will keep a balanced diet and regular physical activity which are essential for good health and environment-friendly. As a final point, some modern machines are lack of aesthetics. While traditional appliances are sometimes regarded as art, which are full of human interests. As a kid of art, tradition may give insight into the human condition which uplifts us spiritually.

A tradition that could die was not real tradition. The real tradition is the forever them. Although the replacement for the traditional skills seems reasonable to some extent. Still, these advantages should not overshadow the reason of my opinion that keeping traditional life styles is necessary and important.

Veterinary, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Arts, Engineering occupied the maximal portion of the main fields of study between 104,800 55-69 year-olds who held a degree, with 59.69% altogether.
那都混在一起了,这个怎么办啊?

小作文(剑7 TEST1 WRITING TASK1):
As is displayed in the table, the percentage of national consumer expenditure on different items in five different countries differed in 2002.

In terms of Food/Drinks/Tobacco, Turkey had the largest percentage in them of its national consumer expenditure, with 32.14%. Meanwhile, among all the countries, the figure was also the biggest one. Moreover, Sweden only spent 15.77% of its national consumer expenditure on Food/Drinks/Tobacco, to let this number be the smallest one among all the countries. Furthermore, Italy became the leading one among those countries in the percentage of Clothing/Footwear expenditure. In addition, we can witness that in aspect of Food/Drinks/Tobacco and Clothing/Footwear, Ireland and Spain’s percentages of expenditure were moderate. But when we move to Leisure/Education, we will find they were the bottom ones, with 2.21% and 1.98% respectively, while Turkey also held the predominance in the percentage of Leisure/Education expenditure, just like it did in aspect of Food/Drinks/Tobacco.

In the mass, what is obvious is that Food/Drinks/Tobacco was the leading expenditure of national consumer expenditure in all five countries, and there were other items of national consumer expenditure weren’t issued.

谢谢!!!

以下是雅思精品班模考题TASK1:

As is revealed in the table, the average percentage marks that boys and girls gained differed conspicuously among different age groups.
In respect to the boys, the average percentage marks of Maths boomed in line with age except 15 years old, reaching a peak at 69% at 13 years old and bottoming out at 63% at 7 years old, which can almost be paralleled with that of Geography. The mean percentage scores crept up in step with the growth of age without regard of 15 years old in Science, within a range of approximately 4%. This is contradictory to that of Languages.
As to the girls, in the subject of Maths and Geography, the average percentage marks rose and fell evenly from 7 to 13 years old. It was undulate in Science within a range of 4% from the whole 4 groups of 7,10,13 and 15 years old. What’s more, it fluctuated downward, averaging out at about 66% in the field of Languages.
What’s really interesting is that the mean percentage scores of boys in sports surged successively till its zenith at 78% in 15 years old, which is completely converse with that of girls. Besides, in the subject of sports, the lowest score of boys was still much higher than the highest one of girls. In contrast, girls gained higher scores than boys in Languages of any age groups.
In conclusion, the table gives a breakdown of the truth how boys and girls of different age groups study differently in various kinds if subjects.

The government should control the amount of violence in films and on television in order to decrease the violent crimes in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this issue?

The predicament of violence in the media such as films and television is one of the thorny ill prevalent in this society. When it comes to this phenomenon, some people insist that the government should shoulder the responsibility for it and the government has an obligation to curb the proliferation of the blood in the media. I am highly in favor of this opinion.

In respect of the reason for my opinion, what should be prioritized is that violent films and TV programs are exposed to youngster nowadays. As those teenagers are not mature, they do not possess the capacity to distinguish between right and wrong. Consequently, they are apt to imitate the violent behaviors in the mass media, which may ruin the future generation to some extent.

Admittedly, those violent films and TV programs are so appealing to some people that they are likely to be addicted to the violence. Without violent mass media, these people would feel frustrated and can’t concentrate on doing anything, just like those who are preoccupied with drug. Unfortunately, under no circumstances are they able to make contribution to society and lead a normal life.

The last straw is by no means neglectable that too many programs involved in violence will frighten average residents. In all likelihood, these programs lead to a sense of insecurity of people, which will definitely exert a negative impact on social stability.

Overall, I think that controlling the amount of violent films and TV programs is indispensable and of no denial. For the sake of people and social stability, the government would be well-advised if they take measures to address the problems without any hesitation.

The chart displays the detailed information of the number of people at a London underground station in terms of daily working hours in a day.
All trends can be categorized into 2 stages with rising and falling dramatically(6-10,16-20)and rising and falling evenly(11-15,20-22).The number of passengers fluctuates, reaching a zenith at 8 with a total of 400,and bottoming out at approximately 180 at 8 o`clock. This is the similar case with the trend of a 4-hour period from 16 to 20.Then the number booms moderately, with a range of nearly 100 from 10 to 14,adding up to 300 at 14.Surprisingly,it slumps to only 100 at 16 ,which is 3 times less than that at 14. After a gently fluctuation,it retrieves to 120 at 22 o`clock, which is slghtly more than that at 6 o`clock.
What is worth mentioning is that the underground system in Britain unaviodably takes on the most transportation pressure in the commuter time.

Bar chart 关于男女不同教育程度的weekly earnings.
A glance at the statistics of weekly earnings reflects a significant gender distinction in terms of different educational background.
All trends can be generally categorized into 2 groups with rising in men`s income and women`s income regardless of the state of education.Evidently, the income per week of male graduates surge exponentially, adding up to approximately £680.As to the male non-graduates,this is the similar case with the trend(16 to 49) and it reaches a plateau with a total of £500 from 50 to 59 years old. Also, the weekly earnings of female graduates rise dramatically at 29,which is more than 2 times that at the begining and this can be parelleled with their counterparts in the same period. In the consecutive 30 years, the situation is different. The statistics of female graduates fluctuates, reaching a zenith(40-49)and bottoming out at £320 beford retirement, while their counterparts creep down to £200 from 50 to 59 after a 20-year period of maintaining unvarying.
What is worth mentioning is that the income gap becomes wider and wider upon age of both gender.

六城市地铁情况的那张静态图
A glance at 3 items(kilometres of route, opening date and passengers per year)of the underground railway system reflects great distinction that exists in six cities.
We can see immediately that underground railway system in London built in 1878 is the oldest in the world with 1900 thousand annual passengers so that it has the longest history, followed by the system in Paris built in 1900.Tokyo ranks three in the history of construction, but the this system shoulder the most transportation pressure with the passengers per year adding up to 3996 thousand.Obviously, the progression of underground in American is not as prosperous as that in Europe. The kilometres of route in Washington and Los Angles are 400 and 15 respectively, and the annual passengers in both cities are 700 en masse, which is less than 3 times that in Paris. What is by no means neglectable that the underground system in Miyazaki built in 1978 has the youngest system with fewest kilometres of route.
What is worth mentioning is that the numbers of passengers per year is not proportionate with the kilometres of route.

2.in most parts of the world, the volume of traffic is growing at an alarming rate.In the form of an assignment, discuss about the main traffic problems in your country, their causes and possible solutions.

The predicament of a series of unpleasant traffic problems such as the volume of traffic is yet one of the thorny ills prevalent in the society.Owing to notoriously fickle world environment, brainstorming can be highly effectively in highlighting its intricate instruments.Diverse contributing factors can be identified.Notwithstanding, remedy will be perfectly integrated thereafter in the essay.
What should be prioritized is the clash between the economic growth and sustainble development. In order to expend the indigenous auto market,Chinese authorities spare no efforts to encourage the citizens to purchase the private car, thus resulting in an increasing number of traffic jam not only in rush-hour but also in average time.Admittedly, the advent of science and technology is irreversible and incontrovertible. However,it may promote the significant economic growth in short term, but its long-term effects will be more negative. The last straw is by no means neglectable that situation of environment is deteriorating as a result of heavy transportation.A recent survey conducted by a group of prestigious researchers of Oxford University, demonstrates that otherwise the traditional pollution, more modern environmental-ambiguity are attributed to various new malevolent sorts of contamination such as the noise which is more harmful and detrimental.
There arises a dillema as the Pandora`s box over the serious problems in areas of both society and environment.Confronting such a complicated and complex problem,we are expected to take actions as soon as possible. The government should be in high favor of the possibility of sustainablity. On the other hand,it is high time the legislative institutes drew up the strict law, thus cultivating the desirable social atmosphere.
Although the so-called noble pretext seems plausible in some extent, inevitably the feasiblities of solution of traffic problems outweigh its counter-argument.Only in this way, with judicious management, can we appropriately achieve the profound objective.

Successful sports professionals can earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions. Some people think this is fully justified while others think unfair.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It has been widely noticed that successful sports professionals can earn a great deal money what act as pandora's box is whether it is justified for sports stars own more money than other professions. From my view it is unfair that successful sports professionals earn more money than people in other important professions.
It must be admitted that nowadays the sports stars earn a great deal of money. Some people fully support it. They think it is very hard to be a successful sport star. Only few people have advantages in physically. For example Michael phelps recorded the greatest individual performance of any Olympian by winning eight gold medals and setting seven world records. Though his strict training helps him a lot his talent of swimming make him walk further. It is extreamly difficult to be a man like him. So it is reasonable to give him amount of money. Further more the athletes always have a very short sports life. After their sports career they don not have any other skill to make money. So they must make enough money when they are into it.
On the other hand ,another people consider sports stars should not make more money than any other important professions. In their mind every job is equal. The other professions like science ,medicine they are also very important. They lead the revolution of this world and push the world to a higher class. But sports are just amusement. It is unfair that these people earn money less than sports professionals.
Personally the people in other important professions should make money as much as sports professionals. They make equal contribution to society. Some are even more than sports men. How much money should be given depend on how much contribution are made to the society. This standard is fair to everyone
